Thanks for taking a look into my closet...a vintage shop focusing on the more feminine flare of vintage clothing, homewares, antiques and random funky finds. I maybe in with the old, and out with the new style-wise, but not for customer service and quality of shipping. My shop will be focusing on most items as free USA shipping! I find such beauty in vintage items and hope you enjoy the same beauty and these items bring much light and love into your home and wardrobe. If it inspires me, I collect it. Birds, flowers and cultural antiquities seem to be my forte.

As a wellness and recipe blogger, I use vintage items as a source of inspiration for various recipes as well as props in the photography. Here is one of the latest of how a handmade Hawaiian dress inspired this recipe:

Inspiring the world on the Beauty of Vintage and Antiques

While living in Germany and working on a self-published vegan cookbook, I lived in Hannover's Old Town and found myself falling in love with the past. Every Saturday was the "flohmarkt" (flea market) and needing props, I found a passion and love for vintage and vegan. A fusion of respecting the past and embracing the future of eating. What started by using vintage dishware, table clothes and utensils manifested into myself rummaging antique shops throughout Europe and then estate sales back in the states in search of the perfect plate for my recipes. Eventually, I discovered the beauty vintage clothes with it's feminine touches, and combined with the beauty of nature, I integrate some of these props into my food blog. Over the last couple years, I became a collector of many antiques and funky finds, and wahhlahh here I am today on Etsy hoping these beauties that once brought joy to my little Seattle apartment (or wardrobe) will bring the same joy and love to your home too!

Frequently asked questions
Do you notify in the listings of any damage?

Vintage items have had former lives and I do my best to analysis, photograph and describe any wear, stains, damage or tears in the images + descriptions.

Are all sales final? What if I made a mistake?

Yes, all sales are final, but if you feel you made a mistake please request to cancel the order within 2 hours of purchase, or earlier.

Some days, depending on the time of the order, I am able to process and ship items on the day the order was received. Right now I ship 5-6 days per week. Tuesdays are longer work days so I may not be able to drop off any packages on that day.

How long does it take you to process orders?

My processing time is 1-3 business days. If there are any issues on processing the order, I will contact the buyer asap to notify of any delays. Or ask any questions that may have discrepancies on the address provided.

If I have not heard back from the buyer via the Etsy messenger, I will reach out via email about your order.

Any other delays are also mentioned in the announcement.

How do packages get to the USPS?

Once the item is packaged, I will send you a picture of the box/package in the private messenger and will update you on when I will drop the package off to USPS.

I care about vintage items and I personally drop them off at USPS. I do not do USPS pickups to avoid any delays, or any mishandling of the boxes). If the line is short at USPS, I will get them immediately scanned in.

What are your shipping policies?

Once the USPS has possession of the item, I am not responsible for any length of shipping or delays.

International orders should expect that it can take up to 30 days to get the package from the USA to your home country. Domestic orders can take up to 14-20 business days for some first class shipping, esp. with delays in COVID.

I am also not responsible for any damage that USPS, FedEx of UPS does directly to the box or item.

If you have issues with your order, or frustrated with any delays, please contact me. Orders that are in transit for near 10 days (USA orders), the seller can initiate a file claim with USPS to see if the item is in transit or truly missing.

What happens if the package arrives damaged? Or is lost in the mail?

I do my best to pack the items as safely and carefully as possible. If items arrive broken, please contact me within 3 days of the package arriving, along with a picture of the damage item(s) and a picture of the damaged box. The USPS requires images of the actual item + package to determine its claim. The seller will submit the USPS claim to refund the broken item.

Refunds will not be given while items are still in transit. The USPS will have to determine in a filed claim if it is a lost package. If the item is truly lost, a refund will be given.

I cannot control the length of shipping or any hold backs from USPS. I do apologize for any shipping delays but it is out of my control.

Do you do special reservations for items?

Yes, I am more than happy to create a private listing for you. Payments must be made within 48 hours. If payments are not made, the listing will go public.

Can I ask you to keep an eye out for certain items?

ABSOLUTELY! I am always tinkering around town and estate sales so if you are into something I will keep you in mind. If you are not interested in the items, it is ok! No strings attached! I end up listing all items.

I've had former customers tell me to reach out to them about their collections like trays, hand fans, seashells, vintage stationary etc.

I have a HUGE inventory at home so I may even have something already in storage!

Where do you get your items?

I have been consistently collecting since 2014/15. While living in Germany between 2014-15, I began to fall in love with antiques and purchased many items in Germany and while traveling throughout Europe. The European flea markets were amazing.

In Seattle, I mainly go to estate sales and online auctions.

What if I gave the Elizabethan Closet the wrong address?

If I have not processed the order, please message me ASAP!

Etsy notifies buyers of any non-verified addresses. If there are issues, or questions, I will reach out via Etsy messenger. If the address is incorrect, I will not be able to purchase the shipping label.

If I had not heard back from the buyer via messenger, I will contact via email requesting for the correct address confirmation.

I will contact buyers if there are any questions about the order.

However, If you have provided a wrong address and the package is shipped back to me, the buyer will need to cover the shipping costs to re-ship the item. This will occur by a reserved listing with the list of the price that will need to be paid within 48 hours.
