The Extra Detail is operated by Scott and Brandi a husband and wife duo that love design of all types.

The Extra Detail got its start in 2006 when we were choosing invitations for our wedding. We just could not find the one we thought that was perfect for our event. From that point forward we knew that designing stationery of all kinds was something we both had a passion for.

We work together designing and assembling all of our items that are created especially for our customers.

We love to create custom items that reflect the direct personality and style of our customer. If you do not see a design on our site that strikes you as perfect for your event please contact us and we will design something especially for you.

We work closely with our customers to ensure all of their design needs and ideas are met.

Customer satisfaction is number 1 to us and we will do what we can to ensure you are satisfied with your custom creation. .

Shipping is always free within the United States.

Please note that your invitation after completion may be used as a picture to display this custom item or may also be used as a sample distributed to other brides. If you wish to not have your invitation displayed on etsy or please advise me of this. Thank you

You may purchase a sample of any of our items by purchasing the listing.
Please note: All samples are created in a generic format. We do not customize samples. They are available for you to purchase to get an ideas of the format and quality of each item. When you are ready to move forward with your order you will be able to customize EVERY aspect of the invitation including the color, the font, the wording and set up.
Shipping only applies to samples.
FREE SHIPPING is offered within the United States on all other items.

How to get started- Payment and Proofing Process

When you are ready to begin the ordering process contact us and we will set up a custom listing for the deposit especially for you or purchase a deposit listing in our shop.

The deposit to get started is $ 50.00. If you order does not exceed $50.00 the deposit will be half of the total order. Your deposit does go towards the total amount due.

Once the deposit is received please forward us your wording and color choices. We will get working on a wording proof and will send out color samples in the mail. You will then be able to choose which color you would like for every aspect of your item.

During the wording proof process you will receive a number of proofs of your wording to review and make any changes necessary. We will send you a variety of font style to choose from.

Once your wording is exactly the way you would like it and you have chosen your colors, we will create a proof of the complete invitation. At that time you can make any additional changes.

Once the final proof is approved the remaining payment is due. We will create your invitations and get these shipped out to you for free if shipped within the United States.

You will be notified when your order has been shipped. A tracking number will be provided for your convenience.
Shipping is $.75 per item if purchasing only one (sample).

If your order consists of multiple items shipping is free. This applies to shipping in the United States only.

When purchasing items to be shipped internationally shipping is a flat rate of $45.00 or $1.00 each item which ever is less. International shipments can not be tracked. If you wish to have your purchase tracked we can discuss additional shipping methods.

Once your order is shipped The Extra Detail LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Generic Samples ship out in approximately 48 business hours unless other wise noted

Orders are completed within 3 weeks from date of final proof approval and security of payment
** Please note most orders are completed sooner than the stated 3 week timeframe however this will depend on current order volume
Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the fact that all items are custom created to meet your specific needs, all sales are final and non refundable. Please make sure that all proofs when provided are exactly the way you would like them
Once a proof is approved we can not be responsible for errors if approved.
