Welcome to The Felted Pear! I am committed to making fun, high-quality, safe, environmentally friendly felt food toys for children. Current Production time is about two weeks.
Please have a look around, and feel free to contact me if you have any special requests for items you do not see. I will contact you after your order is placed to let you know your exact shipping date. Feel free to contact me if you are concerned about getting something in time, and we can try to work something out.
I am a Registered Dietitian and try to maintain a healthy assortment of felt foods for little ones to play with, but I also believe that treats in moderation are a part of any healthy lifestyle, so you will find all sorts of food on my site.
I use environmentally friendly Eco-Fi felt and stuff all creations with renewable and sustainable bamboo unless otherwise stated.
I look forward to helping you promote a healthy eating habits and lots of imaginative play with your favorite little ones.

* IMPORTANT* Please make sure your Paypal address is correct. That is the address I will ship to unless you supply me with another.
Shipping
International Orders ship via First Class International Mail. Expedited shipping may be available, but will require an upcharge. Please convo me for a quote.
If actual shipping charges (including packaging) are less than estimated by more than $1.00, the difference will be refunded through Paypal.
If you would like to add insurance or wish to upgrade to expedited shipping, please convo me with your zip code before sending payment so I can adjust the invoice accordingly.
Ready made items will ship within 2 days from payment. Orders for ready made items placed Friday-Sunday will mail on Monday.
Please understand that custom orders will take longer to complete. The amount of time needed depends on how complex the detail is and varies greatly. Larger orders will take longer to create. This could be anywhere between 7 to 14 days. You will receive an estimated time frame prior to the custom item being listed.
Please be aware that all custom orders are worked on in the order in which they are received.

The Felted Pear recommends that you routinely check your felt food for any wear and tear that may potentially be a safety hazard. Please supervise your children while they are playing with creations from The Felted Pear.
Felt foods from The Felted Pear are not recommended for use by children under the age of three or who still put things in their mouths.
All food is made with eco-fi felt(unless stated otherwise) and is washable. I recommend hand washing in cool water and laying it out on a towel to dry. If you choose to machine wash please put the food in a lingerie bag or tied pillowcase and use cold water on a gentle cycle and wash alone with mild detergent. Do NOT use bleach. Dry as stated above.
