These are amazingly beautiful! So rad to see jewelry like this. They're a little too big for me to wear with my doubles so I gifted them to my momma. She digs 'em too! Thanks

I ordered the pressed ‘Johnny jump up’ for my Mom. Her & I have always had a thing for those flowers. She is getting her kitchen remodeled & this is going to be perfect hanging in her window. She was SO happy! This is a high quality piece, exactly as pictured. Item shipped fast & I’m going to order one for myself. Thank you!

Handmade One of a Kind Floral and Botanical Art for Special and Memorable Moments
For as long as I can remember I've always been a "crafter/maker". Everyone in my immediate family was creative in one way or another and encouraged me to be creative as well. I grew up in a flower shop working with my Aunt. She noticed early on that I loved making things, so she asked me to start working with her after school.
Once I reached High School, my Dad began pushing me to "get a real job". I know his heart was in the right place, he wanted me to have a "good job". So I started pursuing Physical Therapy. One semester in College and I quickly discovered a "real job" wasn't for me. My Aunt called me up to meet her for dinner one evening. It was discussed at that moment that I should go to school and earn my Business Degree. Then, however many years down the line, when my Aunt was ready to retire, she'd sell me her flower shop. So, that's exactly what I did! As of April 2016, The Flower Company officially became my shop!
As much as I LOVE fresh flowers and botanical materials, they do eventually fade and die. So I began experimenting with pressing and preserving flowers as keepsakes and pieces of artwork. It serves a double purpose.
1. Creates a way to save flowers from a special or memorable moment in your life. Weather it be your wedding day, or the loss of a loved one. I can say, I wish I had this form of artwork down when my Dad passed away. I would have made keepsakes for myself and all of my family. Speaking of my Dad, he sat in my shop about a year before he passed and he said, "Adri, I'm proud of you!". He was referring to the fact that he was proud of my career, he told me I was gifted and was doing what I was called to do. Of course I teared up and hugged him.
2. It creates a way to cut down on waste in the retail flower shop environment. My husband laughs at me when I come home with a bundle of flowers to press and prepare.
The Flower Company operates out of my brick and mortar shop and my home studio. Each and every piece is pressed, designed, created, photographed, packaged and sent by me.
Owner, Maker, Designer
Hello, I've been in the floral industry for over 27 years now. Floral Design wasn't my first craft, I actually loved (and still do) making many things out of all sorts of mediums. But Floral Design and Floral Art captured my heart long ago.

All of the pressed flower pieces are encased in a UV protective glass. This only means that it slows down the natural fading of the flowers. You will still need to be mindful of where you place your pressed flower artwork. It should not be placed where direct sunlight or extremely bright light will shine on it as that will speed up the fading process.
