It didn't take long to become hooked on felt flower crafting after taking a course at my local quilt shop. I made a few pieces for my daughter's nursery and then some flowered headbands, which attracted a lot of attention. After being asked for about the 50th time whether or not I had an Etsy shop, I finally jumped in and got to work!

I taught early childhood special education for ten years before getting to stay at home with my daughter. As a teacher, I was always involved in committees and extra activities , keeping busy all of the time. As a mom, I found my schedule quite empty. Finding a balance between taking in the special moments of motherhood and working on a project outside of being a Mom has really helped guide me towards being truly fulfilled.

Nap time used to be about Netflix, but now it's all about getting orders made and creating new items. I love the challenge of making something from nothing, in under three hours time! :)
