Absolutely beautiful! They're supposed to be a gift, but I want to keep them - maybe next time.

I love these rings! They are cute, arrived in time, and are exactly what I wanted! I plan to use them as house rings under the chuppah in a Jewish wedding ceremony.

Through The Forest Door...
TheForestDoor is a journey that I've been on for a very long time. It's a manifestation of my love of fables & folk tales, storybook characters, my Polish heritage, and all of the things that live in our minds and go on to inspire us and shape who we are. This shop brings out everything that's ever inspired me as a child and an adult, resulting in a little treasure that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Cozy cottages, witch's huts, and magic towers hidden deep in the forest. Mountains of colorful gems, doors waiting to be opened, and stories waiting to be told.
I get a lot of inspiration from animated cartoons/movies I used to watch as a child. I continue to love the Moomins, Studio Ghibli films, the Smurfs, Pszczolka Maja (Maya the Bee) and classic Disney. I love classic fairy tale illustrations by Edmund Dulac, Jan Marcin Szancer, and Arthur Rackham. I'm also fascinated by the sometimes darker side of folklore and fables.
There may be slight differences in some of my pieces as they are all molded and painted by hand. These small "imperfections" make each item completely unique for every customer.
I love to create little things that tell a story or represent an idea, and I love to share them with others. Hopefully my creations will inspire and delight my visitors, both young and old. Welcome and enjoy your stay!
Owner, Designer, Creator
My name is Karolina. I'm a graphic designer by trade, but I fancy myself a story teller at heart. I love design, illustration, travel and different cultures. When I'm not creating I'm drinking coffee, watching sci-fi or travel shows, or day dreaming.
If you have an issue with the shop or an item in particular, please contact me before leaving feedback or ordering and I will do everything I can to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your experience at TheForestDoor. I am passionate about the things I create and constantly strive to improve myself, my products, and my relationship with my supporters :) Don't hesitate to message me with any questions or concerns.
*** Information about the earring posts I use in my earrings can be found at the bottom of this page.
Although my items are very colorful and playful, they are not always intended for small children. Please consider the age of the child if you are purchasing something from my shop. Some items are small and could present a choking hazard, or contain small pieces that could break off during rough play. I paint and finish my pieces with eco-safe, water-based materials but please avoid placing any of the pieces in your mouth or allowing children or animals to do the same. Polymer clay is considered non-toxic but, like many materials, should not be ingested. Please also be aware that prolonged exposure to water could damage some of the pieces. Handle with care to ensure the long life of your handmade treasures. By purchasing from my shop, you are agreeing to supervise the handling of these products around children or animals to ensure that they are enjoyed safely. :)
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
At this time, I do not give refunds for purchase. However, I do accept exchanges. If an item arrives broken or somehow damaged, or if you have received the wrong order, please send me a message (with photographs) via my Etsy inbox and I am happy to send a replacement.
Once the need for an exchange has been confirmed, it will take me 3-5 days to re-create your order and ship it out to you.
I carefully check the muslin baggies before shipping out orders to make sure they are in good condition; If for some reason your baggie arrives damaged in some way, I am happy to include a replacement. Please mention this in your message as I will not include a baggie in your exchange unless you request a new one.
I do not offer refunds for the difference of a discount (ex: if there is a promotion going on and you failed to apply the coupon code).
Any available discounts will always be listed below the banner on my shopfront, or on the banner itself.
CANCELING AN ORDER:
If you wish to cancel an order, please submit your order cancellation within 48 hours via your "Purchases & Reviews" page of your account.
ITEMS LOST IN TRANSIT:
I will not issue a refund for items that have been lost in transit by the USPS.
I do not offer a refund for any slight differences in color between the photographs in the shop and the item you receive. I do my best to represent the actual colors and qualities of each item faithfully in my photographs, utilizing natural light and high quality photographs. Despite this, and due to different monitor settings and configurations, there may be slight differences in what you see on screen and the actual item itself. Please be aware of this before placing your purchase! Please message me if you have any questions about item specifics.
If paying via PayPal, Please be sure that your address on your PayPal account is accurate and up-to-date. If there is an error or change in shipping address, please message me within 48 hours of purchase to correct any mistakes. Otherwise, I will ship to the address that is given upon receiving your order.
If payment is not received within 48 hours of you placing your order, I reserve the right to cancel the order.
I ship via USPS First Class or Priority Mail within the U.S. A tracking number i always included in the domestic shipping price.
At this time, I only offer tracking on international orders as a separate item, at an additional cost.
A "basic" tracking service is included in the base shipping cost of international orders, but this only tracks the package until it has left the United States. After that, it will not offer updates while in transit or while it is out for delivery.
I package and wrap the items securely before placing them in padded envelopes (or boxes, for larger orders).
Most items are ready to ship within 3-5 business days. Almost every order is custom made and this is the time it takes to complete it. Sometimes, I can get orders out in 2-5 days. I always wait at least 48 hours in case my customers need to contact me with concerns or changes to their order.
You can view the status of your order (whether or not it has been shipped) via the Etsy website.
If you wish to upgrade to faster shipping, I can make a custom listing(s) for you to reflect the increased shipping costs. Please message me about this BEFORE placing your order. This will likely not speed up the time it takes to make your order, only ship it.
*** Please please PLEASE make sure that the address you give me during checkout is correct and includes all your information, especially the destination's postal code. Please make sure your PayPal info reflects your current address.
Etsy sellers have no control over the customs charges in buyers' respective countries. Please be aware of this before purchasing. For more information, please visit this page: https://www.etsy.com/help/article/5023
