Hello! Thank you for stopping by to my shop! It is my goal here in this shop to make the best possible quality handmade jewelry I can for you at a price that's good for both of us! All of my items are made by hand with as many upcycled parts as I can manage to get my hands on. I'm currently a student studying for my BA in Classics, with a minor in both Medieval/Renaissance Studies and in Writing, and I have a part-time job at a local independent bookstore. I have always wanted to make jewelry to sell, and I have finally decided to go for it! It feels great to actually be moving forward with another of my dreams, and YOU are a huge part of it! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about my shop by either EtsyConversations message or by email at thefoundryjewels [!at] Thanks!

Accepted payment methods

I currently only accept payment through PayPal. For security reasons, this is not likely to change. You may cancel your order at any time before it is shipped. I will give you 24 hours notice before I ship your order. Payment must be made at the time of the transaction.

For information on payment for custom orders, see the Additional Information section.
Still working out costs and methodology, so expect some changes here and there in this section.

Currently I only ship within the United States. Sorry! I'm working out international policies still, and don't want to dive into it without knowing what I'm getting into. Hopefully I will be able to change this restriction soon.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not accept returns at this time.

If your item arrives damaged, you can either have it repaired at no cost to you or replaced entirely for the cost of shipping. Please email me (at thefoundryjewels [!at] or send me an EtsyConversation message if this has happened, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I currently do not accept exchanges once items have been shipped. If your items are not yet shipped and you would like to exchange, please email me (at thefoundryjewels [!at], and you may exchange your item(s) for an item(s) or equal value. I request that you email me because I am much more likely to see it right away through email! This email address sends messages directly to my phone, and I’ll get the message within a half hour of its arrival.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am currently accepting commissions for necklaces and bracelets. To request a commission, simply email me (at thefoundryjewels [!at] or send me an EtsyConversation message and give me an idea of what you’re looking for. You can either describe what you want me to make with specific details, or give me some sort of inspiration you would like me to work from (quotation, music, image[s], anything really, but be aware I haven’t seen too many movies, and I can only read so many books at a time!).

Once I accept a commission piece and terms are agreed on, you are obligated to purchase it. Pricing and costs will be discussed prior to my beginning to create the piece. I can update you at every step on the piece, and send you emails with pictures to be sure we’re thinking along the same lines. This way you can approve everything and you can get exactly what you’re looking for! Or if you’d rather be surprised, you can tell me to keep out of your hair and just send you what I interpret from your idea or inspiration.

Here is a list of materials I use.
Metal bottle caps from a wide selection of alcoholic beverages
Feathers (brown, brown&white, black, black&grey)
Leather (black, brown, red)
Faux leather (white, black)
Medium and large bullet shells (recycled!)
