About

One of a Kind Art Dolls Inspired by Literature

I never really grew out of playing with dolls. As a child, I would collect scraps of fabric to sew tiny dresses for my dolls. In college, I was given an art doll as a gift. I made a few dolls of my own while researching the art doll community, and was happy to discover a market for an art form I’d been unknowingly working in since childhood.

Making dolls combines my love for sewing and painting with the joy of creating new characters, each with their own life and story. I started out by creating art dolls based on my favorite fairy tales, but soon expanded to creating dolls inspired by all of my favorite stories. I also often make up little stories about each doll’s life and personality as I work. I think it’s that touch of nostalgic magic and make-believe that continues to draw people to dolls, even after they’re grown up.

Each of my art dolls is one of a kind, and the process of creating a single doll can take months. They are entirely hand sculpted and stitched from my own patterns, painted with watercolors, and brought to life with tiny hand-stitched outfits and carefully crafted accessories. Whether it’s the fingernails on an itty bitty finger, or the hands to a tiny watch face, no detail goes unnoticed!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

I will consider any requests for custom items if you would like to contact me with one! I love to work with people and share ideas! Please keep in mind that custom orders may cost a bit more, and will take 1-2 months to complete. To get an idea of cost please view the "Custom Order Dolls" section of my shop.

I can also reserve a pre-made doll (not custom order) for a buyer for up to a week before purchase, or put a doll on layaway with a down payment of approx. 1/4 of the total price (I always round to an even interval $5 or $10). Please convo me for more info on reserve or layaway.
