Thank you for coming to The Front House.
What started as a way of emptying our front house of over 100 years of living has gone beyond those walls. I love to go treasure hunting and but can't keep every item I bring home.
I'll describe and disclose all that I know about each item. Because of the age of our items everything is sold AS IS. They may not be perfect but they are perfectly vintage.
You'll find some really cool stuff that is old and some stuff that is so old it's really cool.

I ship within the USA. International shipping is available for most items.

Whenever possible I reuse boxes and packing materials. If your item arrives in a box marked 'sterile gloves' not to worry. It's probably from me and you'll know right away it's something you just bought on Etsy.

I use USPS for shipping most items. I may use UPS for larger, bulkier things.

Since I sell vintage items I CANNOT REPLACE a lost or damaged item. If your item arrives damaged SAVE all of the packaging. TAKE PHOTOS of the damaged item and packaging and send them to me right away-within 3 days of receiving your item. I will need this 'evidence' to file a claim with the shipping company and work towards getting you a refund. I will not refund until I receive your evidence.

Be assured I will carefully prepare your item for shipping because I want it to get there safe and sound as much as you do.

INTERNATIONAL Shipping--I am willing to ship internationally for most items to select countries. Please ask. International buyer is also responsible to pay any and all customs, duty or import fees and taxes. Please know your own countries import fees.

Although most packages arrive quickly and without incident, there are many factors beyond my control once your item is sent. I do insure most international packages – but some countries have restrictions. Please read the following:

International orders are shipped USPS First Class International. Typical delivery time outside the U.S. is 10-14 business days, but it can take up to 4-6 weeks for a package to arrive. If your order is time sensitive, please contact me first.

***Please allow 45 days for the worst-case scenario before considering a package lost. Refunds cannot be given prior to that time due to insurance restrictions.

Allow extra time for your item to go through your country's customs inspection. VAT or customs duties are not included in shipping charges. Please contact your local customs office about fees as you may need to pay them upon delivery.

International buyers are responsible for any customs, duties, charges or fees associated with the purchase/import of an item from my shop. Your package will be marked ‘merchandise’ and the full retail value will be declared.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do want you to be happy with your purchase. If you think you've bought something that was not just as I described, please contact me immediately. I will work to help make it right. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS just because you've changed your mind. Please read each item description for size, color, and condition before you purchase. ASK QUESTIONS before you purchase. I'm happy to answer.

If your item arrives damage due to transit, PLEASE contact me immediately-within 3 days. Keep ALL packaging. Take pictures of the damaged item AND the packaging and send them to me. It will be needed for evidence with the shipping company. I will not refund until I receive your evidence.
