Copper Dog Breed Cookie Cutters?

I'm pretty sure I thought Charles was nuts when he said he wanted to make dog cookie cutters .... We'd been dabbling in copper since about 1995. As a career for a short while then in our spare time when it was hard to find a market and a battle to afford our supplies.

The days of making copper watering cans and baking pans were over and it was time to reinvent ourselves.

We started selling our cookie cutters online in the early 2000's. We did poorly at it. We weren't making enough to make ends meet and hadn't learned the fine art of customer service... something we strive for daily here at The Fussy Pup.

So, we had to quit for a while... but in early 2013 we finally got the opportunity to try again and Charles was able to quit his job at the local retail giant and get back to what he loves! Creating. His imagination never stops, whether it's designing a new cookie cutter, working in the gardens, or creating something awesome in the wood shop.

A couple years later in early 2015 I too was able to quit my day job and be here full time. About a year later we as we created and grew we were able to hire my sister full time too! It's busy, busy, busy here at The Fussy Pup

Currently, we have 2 employees on our payroll and so many new projects at hand. It's a constant evolution of our ideas to keep us growing. And we're always looking for talent to join our growing business.

We wish we could get to know everyone of our customers but it isn't really feasible in this day and age to give that face to face service you can find in your local craft shops ... if you can find a local craft shop. So here at The Fussy Pup we do what we can to make sure that every one of our customers is satisfied. We are only human we make mistakes from time to time but we will do everything in our powers to correct it should it happen!

We strive to ship daily and get orders out the following day of purchase. We gladly combine shipping in single orders; just place all of your items in your shopping cart and shipping will automatically be calculated. Shipping is via First Class services. Upgrades can be chosen for an additional cost upon checkout.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
If for any reason you aren't happy with your purchase just let us know. If you simply aren't happy we'll need the item returned but if something is damaged let us know and we'll get another out to you right away and figure out what to do with the damaged one later.
If you need to cancel your order let us know immediately. We try to ship within one day so do let us know right away if something changes and you need to cancel.

You can make payments via credit card directly here on etsy or via paypal if prefered.

Shipments in the USA usually arrive in 3-6 business days. Transit times do vary a bit but shipping is via First Class Mail; we ship out of Indiana. Priority Mail upgrades can be purchase at check out if desired.
We strive to ship daily so get your order to you quickly. Shipping is via First Class Mail (or better at our discretion) unless shipping upgrades are purchased. Shipping will be combined in orders purchased together; simply place all of the desired items in your cart and etsy will automatically take care of the rest.

We ship directly through Etsy's shipping service so please be sure your address is correct. The program will automatically fix errors to comply with the USPS's address on file but can not know if you've forgotten to update to your newest address without your help. So please double check all shipping information before checking out. Tracking will be automatically sent to you when we purchase shipping so you can keep an eye on your package. Sometimes the post office makes a mistake when scanning in labels or is slow to update information. So please allow a few days once your item has shipped for it to arrive before worrying about tracking information.

International shipments may be subject to additional customs fees apparently that's just the way it is someplaces ~ the postage paid to me covers our costs for first class shipping of merchandise. Our customs forms are automatically filled out through Etsy's shipping service so please double check that the shipping address is correct upon check out. Once the item has left our hands it's up to the USPS and your local postal services to get the items to you ~ shipping can take 7-14 days on average but occasionally do take longer. Tracking is provided automatically provided to you when we purchase shipping but do expect long delays in the updating of information for international purchases.
