Making all your gift wishes come true!

Mother Teresa said, "It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving." I am a compulsive gifter. I get so much pleasure from the look of delight on someone's face when they receive something unique from me. I not only put in love, but usually something a little funny, or quirky. I think the recipient should be able to tell at a glance that it's "me". It's equally enjoyable when the gift recipient "gets" the joke. Everybody needs a little beauty in their lives. I hope that to some extent, through gifting, I can help create small, beautiful moments even for people I have never met and will never know. There is so much rudeness in the world today and so many have acquiesced that it's acceptable. I hope to create a kinder, gentler space where everyone's efforts are acknowledged and appreciated and where anticipating the needs of others is our highest and noblest calling. Paying attention to detail shows respect. And being thoughtful doesn't cost you a dime - but the rewards that you reap are priceless. Thank people. Remind people that you care. Acknowledge that they matter. It doesn't have to be a grand gesture - just something small, well-thought, and heartfelt.
