Announcement   Hi! Welcome to my cute little corner of the world.

I have been sewing since I was little, probably around 9. I got my first sewing machine when I was 15, and have been creating things ever since. I like making clothing as it is more creative than anything I can purchase.

I have been making weighted blankets and vests for over a year now. I was working with a woman who had her own business open, but she has since closed the business because her family needed her more. So I decided to branch into my own space for the children who need items like these. I have made well over 100 blankets and 50 vest in that span of time. I find it calming to know that when these items make it into your home, that they will be loved, and that they will help you children cope and sleep.

I will be added more items as I can, and I would love to work with you on any of your needs.

Great quality vest. Beth puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows in the quality of the item received. Thank you for providing a much needed service and doing such a great job. Can't thank you enough!

The vest sewn by this shop was high quality and customized for our son as a police vest - at no extra charge. We were amazed at how great it was. The pictures on the website do not do these vests justice! It has been so helpful to our son, and our thanks for the amazing craftsmanship and thoughtful details that make his police vest truly special!

About

My love for children, and need to make a difference started this all!

I started my shop years ago, with no idea with what I wanted to do with it. I dabbled in making different things and trying to sell them, and switching it up, making things I never listed, etc. I always wanted to feel like I was making a difference in what I was doing and it took a while for me to find what balances my need and talent to create with something that can give back to the world, even if only on a small scale.

I worked for a woman who owned her own business making and selling weighted blankets, lap pads, and vests. She hired me because the demand was more than she could keep up with on her own. I absolutely fell in love. I have a sensory disorder myself, and being able to touch all the fabric, and make things, and know they were going to children who needed them, made me feel absolutely fantastic. She ended up closing the business, and I have felt something missing since that happened. I have decided to start on my own little adventure making and selling these weighted blankets and vests.

Occasionally I will try out other things, because I really like being adventurous (with crafts). I may or may not post these other things I make, but I hope that they will be well received. My youngest sister really loves my sugar scrubs and soaps.

I hope that I will be successful, but my real concern is making sure that at the end of the day, I made a difference for the better, even if it was only for a few people.
