▪ There are NO refunds or exchanges for ANY SERVICE offered by TheGirlWorks.

In accordance with my policies, you are provided a complimentary revision with your order. If you are still unhappy, you may purchase an additional revision. I am happy to work closely with you until you are thrilled with your purchase. However, you are not entitled to a refund.

A refund would mean that you have received free content that you are able to use on your site or store. This translates to receiving goods at no cost that you get to keep and use without paying. This is not allowed.

▪ If you would like to cancel your order, you MUST contact me within 3 hours to receive a full refund of your purchase price.

After the three-hour window has passed, you order is NO LONGER ELIGIBLE for cancellation as I've already begun the lengthy drafting process. This includes researching your product and products similar to yours, drafting an outline for content, researching keywords, etc.

You will receive your content in your inbox within the processing time noted in the product listing.

▪▪ Please note, I have verified with Etsy that my policies are in alignment with their own based on the Seller's Handbook. Please be sure that YOU are in compliance with the Etsy Buyer's Guide when placing your order, communicating with sellers, and adhering to their store policies.

▪▪ By placing an order with TheGirlWorks, you agree that you acknowledge this policy in its entirety and agree to the terms set forth.

All forms of payment offered by Etsy's Direct Checkout are accepted and payment is always due at the time of order.

If your payment does not clear after 24 hours your order will be canceled. In the event your order is canceled, you should receive a notification e-mail from Etsy. I will provide a note with the e-mail stating why your order was canceled. At this time, you may choose to use an alternate payment method to reserve and confirm your order.

Completed orders are sent via e-mail in the form of a Microsoft Word (.doc) or (.docx) file. If you require a different file type please let me know. I offer a PDF document as an alternative.

Your content will be sent to the email address provided on your order receipt. E-mail correspondences will be sent from THEGIRLWORKSLLC [!at] gmail.com

▪ PORTFOLIO REQUESTS
I do not share a portfolio or "examples" of completed works. I don't think it is right to let others know that I've written someone else's content without their express permission.

▪ NECESSARY INFORMATION
All relevant information must be submitted with your order. If I need to contact you I will do so twice. If there is no response, your order will be canceled minus a 20% administration fee.

▪ PROCESSING TIMES
It is important to me that I follow Etsy guidelines and submit your order within the processing time I have posted. I give extra time for each order to make sure we make your content perfect for you. If you don't communicate throughout the process, I will continue your content and submit it to you as my final draft. This means you will forfeit your complimentary revision.

▪ COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS
Respecting copyright and trademark laws are especially important in content writing. Unless the holder or brand permits use, I will not use any words or phrases that are protected by copyright or trademark. If used to identify a brand, I will include the appropriate symbols including © for copyright, ® for registered, and ™ for trademark as necessary (even in titles and descriptive content).

I can only use a trademark if the product you are selling is a genuine branded item. For example, if you are selling a Onesie®, the brand must be Gerber because Gerber owns the Onesie® trademark.

If you are claiming ownership of a copyright or trademark, please provide your registration information for verification at the time of checkout. Additionally, I will submit a request for proof of licensing ownership to Etsy.

▪ TITLE DELIMITERS
Titles are revised using the dash (-) delimiter. If you prefer a different delimiter be used, please be sure to leave a note with your order. If no delimiter is requested, I will submit your revision using the dash (-) delimiter.

▪ SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

Search engine optimization is ever-changing. My services are rendered with current SEO trends in mind. I can not predict future changes and therefore can not guarantee your success based on future or newly implemented trends. Though, I can guarantee that your content is, at the time of completion, optimized for web crawlers.

▪ NON-GUARANTEE
Though I write exceptionally well and heed SEO guidelines, I can not guarantee you will experience a rise in views, favorites, web traffic, search engine placement, Etsy rank, or sales. I can not be held responsible if you experience a decrease in visibility or sales. Whether or not you experience a rise depends on your ability to effectively market and promote your website or products.

▪ MARKETING
I will not pin products that portray, promote, or glorify serial killers, hate speech, discrimination, oppression, Donald Trump, MAGA, etc. This includes but is not limited to quotes and/or images related to any of the above mentioned categories.

▪ AGREEMENT
By placing an order with TheGirlWorks, you agree to these policies in full and agree to Etsy policies as a buyer.

SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Though limited, there are instances where I may share your information. See below for reasons and circumstances in which your personal information might be shared:

2. If you require a plagiarism report with your order, your name, store or website, and email address will be shared with a third-party provider to process this request.

Your personal information is used by me for only as long as necessary to complete your order. However, under legal and regulatory obligations, your information is stored for up to 4 years.

DATA TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU
In the future, I may store your information using a third-party service. These sites may be located in other jurisdictions. In this instance, I will rely on Privacy Shield Framework. This will allow me to comply with data protection requirements as outlined by the by the U.S. Department of Commerce and European Commission. I will never use a hosting service that does not carry Privacy Shield Certification.
