Announcement    SHIPPING NOTICE: Arrival dates are estimated. I am currently shipping everything via UPS. They have been running on time, for the most part, comparatively speaking. But please note, I cannot guarantee arrival dates. It is fully dependent on the shipping carrier, as they are experiencing overwhelming numbers of parcels while dealing with fewer employees, due to Covid. Hang in there. We'll get through this 😎

I finally figured out what I was meant to do...

I'd love to be able to say that I studied design and art or that I grew up in a creative environment but that's not me. I was in the medical field most of my life. I'm a logical thinker; very structured and organized. I have never considered myself as creative. That all changed in 2015, when I discovered my true passion. I know that sounds cliche but I can't find a better way to explain it.

I started classes in kiln formed glass (fusing) and I became obsessed. Glass fusing involves cutting sheet glass and constructing a design. Once the design phase is complete, it's put into the kiln and fired to molten temperatures. Then specific kiln schedules are followed for cooling, depending on the desired results which are truly spectacular. The vivid colors and infinite shapes are always (well, almost always) amazing.

Along with the kiln, there are many different pieces of equipment used to manipulate the glass even further; grinders, saws, sanders and polishers. There have been many nights that I couldn't sleep because I was so excited to try a new technique. I am blessed to have an 1,800 sq ft studio with multiple kilns and hoards of glass. I used to look at glass as something cold, hard and razor-sharp (it is, I have plenty of cuts to prove it), but now I look at glass as warm and beautiful.

I still have plenty to learn, as do most artists, but I'm extremely pleased at my current place in the creative world. I hope you follow me as I continue to grow.

Frequently asked questions
What shipping options do you offer?

I normally ship within one business day, unless otherwise stated in the listing description. Currently, I am shipping everything via UPS due to exorbitant issues with the US Postal Service. Shipping times are an estimate and cannot be guaranteed during these unprecedented times. If there is an issue with your order, please allow a little extra time and follow your tracking info. If an excessive amount of time has passed and you have not received your order, don't hesitate to let me know. We'll work it out, one way or the other. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We'll get through this together 😎

How soon will you ship?

I love to shop online but hate waiting for my packages :-) I will ship your order within 1 business day and if you order early enough, I'll get it shipped out the same day (I'm on East Coast time). However, some of my items may be "In Production." If that's the case, the individual listings will be clearly marked, if more than a day is required for shipping.

Do you accept returns?

Sure, just let me know within 3 days of receipt of your item. Please return within 14 days. Unless the item arrived damaged, I ask that you cover the cost to ship the item back. I never really had a true understanding of the saying, "starving artist," until I started doing art, full time :-) If the item was damaged during transit, please contact me as soon as possible. Please save all packaging and take pictures of the damage so that I may file an insurance claim.
