Return Policy

Standard Returns
- Standard returns includes all merchandise returns for reasons other than damage or misrepresentation (see below)
- Buyer must notify The Glossed and Found of intent to return an item within 72 hours of receipt.
- Item must be received in original condition within 7 calendar days of notification of intent to return.
- A 25% restocking fee will be charged to the buyer upon return
- In the event that an item was discounted at purchase, either through a sale, use of a discount code or agreement between buyer and seller on a price not contained in the original listing, the 25% restocking fee will be assessed against the original (non-discounted) price of the item.
- The Glossed and Found is not able to refund any third party charges, such as shipping fees.

Damaged Items
- Items damaged by 3rd parties during the shipping process are not the responsibility of the Glossed & Found, and are therefore subject to the policies and procedures of that shipping provider. However, the Glossed & Found has policies in place to ensure our customer’s purchase is protected.
- The Glossed & Found will automatically purchase insurance for all orders over $100 at no cost to our customers, unless otherwise directed by the buyer. Again, this fee incurs no additional cost to our customer.
- For orders under $100, the Glossed & Found will purchase 3rd party shipping insurance at its discretion (e.g., delicate items or large non-standard packages). To ensure your item is insured if your purchase is below $100, please request insurance at check out. A fee may apply.
- The Glossed & Found is not responsible for damage caused during the shipping process, and will not provide a direct refund for any damaged items. Instead, we follow all 3rd party procedures for claiming, assessing, and distributing insurance pay outs. As the shipper, we assume responsibility for managing this process and keep our customers informed of progress. This is typically a 3 – 4 week end-to-end process before a refund is issued, at which point the Glossed & Found will transfer funds to our customers, along with all relevant 3rd party documentation (assessment, photos, etc.).

Peace of Mind Guarantee
- We take pride in our experience appraising and precisely describing all items to our customers. However, if a customer believes that the Glossed & Found made a mistake regarding an item’s condition, age or origin beyond a reasonable measure, we are more than happy to accept a return for a full refund.
- For returns due to listing error all Standard Refund terms apply; however, the 25% restocking fee will be waived.
- The Glossed & Found reserves the right to request a notarized appraisal by a specialist in the event of a disagreement between parties.
We accept PayPal, major credit cards and Etsy gift cards.

We will ship internationally --- If you have an international address please contact us for a shipping quote prior to placing your order.

We ship via the most economical and appropriate method for your item.

If you are purchasing a large or exceptionally heavy item (like a trunk or furniture) please contact us to discuss shipping options. Our trunks generally ship via Greyhound Package Express to the terminal nearest your verified address. It is the safest and most economic shipping option and we have had repeated success with them.

Large items may carry a small handling fee due to the special packaging needed.

Go green! We believe in recycling and reuse boxes for shipping. If you are purchasing a gift for someone please let us know and we will make appropriate arrangements. :)
