Announcement    ** Date posted: July 9 2020... attention to all US customers....Continue to expect possible extended delays on delivery times due to Covid19 and volume levels from online shopping . If you paid for tracking with your order, I have the same information/ updates that you do.
For US customers, I cannot fill out the USPS service ticket form for missing mail, as I am not a resident of the US. For your convenience, here is the link to enter your information to begin a missing mail service ticket. https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm
The tracking number is provided to you once Canada Post has logged your item into the system. There are very long delays at US customs and US sorting facilties.... your patience is appreciated.
Due to the pandemic, all international orders expected delivery times are more than likely not going to be met. I will review each case, but resending an order or refunding (either in total or in part) an order due to USPS or any other carrier failing to provide adequate service- will not be an option. Once an item passes through customs, it is , as you can understand beyond my control.
If you require an item within short/ limited time frame, perhaps consider buying local so it may arrive within that deadline.

***Due to the pandemic, customers (especially if based in the United States) should expect extended delays. Stricter regulations, and a surge in mail volume because of online shopping, USPS sorting facilities can become quite backlogged. Refunds for items that are listed by USPS as 'in transit' will not be provided. US residents can fill out a service ticket on the USPS website regarding missing mail. https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm


The Gnarled Branch wants you to be happy with your purchase! If you are not satisfied with your item, contact us within 3 days after you have received your purchase. You will be responsible for returning items in their original condition and packaging as well as return shipping costs for exchanges; the refund will be issued after receiving the returned item undamaged.


Great care and time is taken in packaging purchases. The Gnarled Branch IS NOT responsible for damage DURING TRANSIT due to excessive handling abuse. Refunds , if any, will be partial and determined based on the situation.
Photos of damages are required within 3 days after you have received your item.

The Gnarled Branch will NOT issue refunds on tracked orders that are shown as delivered and then stolen from final destination.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to insure that order is being delivered to a safe place.

"The Gnarled Branch" is located in Brampton,Ontario, Canada and will ship worldwide.

If your country is not shown as a location we ship to- message us and we will issue you a shipping quote ASAP and add your country to our shipping locations.

Most shipments will usually come with tracking information, there are instances where we will adjust that because of customer request to insure a cheaper rate.

The Gnarled Branch is not responsible for unforeseen shipment delays.
Busy times of the year (Christmas) there will be delays. If you need your order to arrive at a specific time, please place your order early and/or forward along a note to possibly have a shipping upgrade to insure your package arrives on time.

*USA customers don't require to pay any duty fees on art purchases under $2000
**The customer will need to pay for (IF ANY) duty charges at the post office when the package is delivered. The Gnarled Branch is not responsible for paying duties or service charges on international orders.

Orders that come with glass~
1. the item can be shipped without glass (so to prevent damage to the art) and a partial refund will be given to compensate for the purchaser to buy glass at their location
2.the glass will be shipped out of frame (so to prevent damage to the art) and the receiver can install the glass themselves. Metal flexible tabs are always used to make this process very simple and quick with no need for any special tool.
3.if the item is to be shipped with glass in the frame-- it will be packaged professionally and carefully to insure that no breakage or damage occurs. The Gnarled Branch IS NOT responsible for damage occurring during the shipping process. Proper packaging is used and clear labelling/stickers are applied to the container, but excessive and abuse could occur with subsequent damage.

**ReDirected Art Commissions... if you have a painting that you would like me to work on, you are more than welcome to ship it to me to be redirected. I make sure through messaging and sketches that you are 100% happy before any painting begins. Buyer is responsible for shipping fees to and from.
