Announcement   Hello Lovelies!

Thank you for visiting my shop! Please follow me on social media. All of my links are on my blog mysteampunkproject.wordpress.com

PLEASE NOTE: I am CLOSING my Etsy store sometime in 2019. I am grateful for my time as a shop owner, but the continuing changes to the platform have not been kind to my shop.

Some items are permanently on clearance/sale. It is TOO LATE to have holiday items shipped in time for Christmas.

I continue to have my amazon author page and will be transferring my inventory to my website on squareup.

I do custom portraits, art and costuming. Note that the printed items are taken from my original artworks and I hold all licensing and rights to their reproduction. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. I'd love for you to have or wear my art!

About my pricing and craftsmanship: I am a professional artist and have been working for over 25 years. I charge competitively for my work, but I will not undervalue what I create. Sample paintings and drawings are noted as such. I carefully research all the antiques I list. If my pieces are handmade and/or include genuine antique items, please expect to pay fairly for those items. For most of my steampunk items, I don't just "slap or glue some gears" on them. I hand stitch, assemble for longevity/durability, and am very selective about what fabrics, art, antiques, jewelry and pieces I produce.

Thank you for being a valued customer visiting my store!

About

I am an artist that specializes in pet portraiture and Steampunk art, but I am creative in many different artistic endeavors.

I started my Etsy shop to share my art with more fans of my work. I've done several art and craft shows with much success but have gained an international audience.

I've been drawing since before I could talk. My love of animals fit in nicely with my art and naturally led to pet portraiture. I can do pieces on commission as well. I have drawn everything from screwdrivers to signs to figures. I also paint, create jewelry, costumes, millinery, sculptures and write. I've participated in several large art public sculptural works in the St. Louis area. I don't like to limit my creativity.

I live my art and have explored various hobbies including: drawing, writing, volunteering for animal charities, karate, yoga, karaoke, voice over work, belly dancing and weather spotting.

I believe that there is no life without risk. I've been in some tornadic storms and jumped off a thirty foot cliff. I love baseball, reading, animals, Halloween/cosplay, all kinds of music and sleeping in when I can. I am a romantic fool. My apartment overlooks the Gateway Arch grounds in St. Louis, MO.

About 10 years ago I also started exploring Steampunk as an artistic theme which has helped me grow as a costumer, writer and artist. I had been a fan of Steampunk before it even had a name over 25 years ago. It has inspired me to create some outstanding hats, jewelry and interesting fashions. For character development I'm currently learning chess, fencing and whipcracking. I'm blogging about these adventures at mysteampunkproject.wordpress.com

My shop is where all my arts meet. Well almost...my writing is on amazon/kindle. I just finished compiling "The Vampire's Little Black Book" series on Kindle and have self-published the Steampunk series "Strax and the Widow", "Revenge and Machinery" and "A Long Reign". I am now working on the sequel "Lafayette to London".

So please enjoy my shop and feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. Thank you for stopping by. Adventures abound and romance is to be had.
