Awesome! As an adult female with hormonal acne I was looking for something to help that didn't have any of the things I am allergic to in its contents. This fit the bill. It helped me get rid of a large cluster acne bendi spot in three days! Seller was easy to talk to as well. I will be a return buyer when I run out.

My ouch pouches are filled with sustainable cherry pits. Cherry pits retain heat and cold. But the best part about my cherry pit filled ouch pouches is that you can wash and dry them without fear of expansion, sprouts, & mold

A new batch of Organic Elderberry Tincture is ready to be bottled. This picture shows the elderberries being covered with grain alcohol. The "cook" time is around 4 to 6 weeks in a dark pantry.

About

My story

I grew up as a US Military brat. I lived in Germany for fifteen years of my life. I have fond memories of backereis, metzgereis, and apothocaries. I loved walking to the downtown Market and smelling all of the beautiful fragrances of fresh baked breads, lovely cheeses, meats, fresh flowers, honey and herbs. What I loved even more are the Christmas Markets with fresh gluhwein, roasting wursts, beer and cold, crisp air.

When we would visit our relatives, I remember walking into my grandmother's, aunt's or cousin's home in Santa Fe, New Mexico and know that fresh posole, green or red chile, tortillas and biscochitos were being made. The smells of garlic, onion, cumin, oregano, anise, cinnamon and chile played a dominant role in my life.

I guess you could say that the Markets of Europe and my relative's homes in New Mexico played a strong factor with my olfactory system.

I have had a strong affinity for herbs, aromatherapy and as- natural-as-can-be products. When I had children of my own, I realized that I wanted natural care for them, this included the medicines I was giving them.

(Super side note: I am absolutely grateful that I live in the era that I do. Modern Medicine is amazing, fascinating and helpful; however, for common dis-eases, such as a cold, heartburn, and/or skin irritants, I don't subscribe to allopathic medicine.)

I received my International Certification in Aromatherapy from the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy. My goal is to one day be as knowledgeable as Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D., Robert Tisserand, Dr. Jean Valnet, MD, Valerie Ann Worwood and Shirley Price and Jeanne Rose. These people, to me, are the catalysts of aromatherapy being accepted as a scientifically-endorsed arena.

Aromatherapy and Herbalism walk hand in hand. Since the essences of aromas come from the herb, it makes sense to me to learn as much about herbs as well. I received my Herbalist Certification from the Herbal Academy of New England.

I am a Nationally Board Certified Therapeutic and Bodywork Massage Therapist, a Reiki Master/Teacher, an Internationally Certified Aromatherapist, and an Action Life Force Healing Practitioner.

I have been a member of NAHA ~ The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (2013) and an affiliate member of ICRT ~ International Center for Reiki Training (2011-2014).

I have two facebook pages:

The Healer's Hands ~ Essential Research
This is dedicated to peer reviewed medicinal articles that support the use of essential oils.

The Healer's Hands ~ Healing Naturally
This is dedicated to helping others finding their healing path ~ naturally.
