Returns and exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you receive an item that is not what you expected, not useful to you, or does not make you completely happy I will gladly work with you to rectify the problem.

EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange for a different in-stock or a custom item, just mail your purchase back to me and I will send you the new item within three days of receiving your exchange. You will be responsible for paying return shipping and any increase in cost for the new item. If there is a decrease in cost, you will be issued a refund the day I receive the exchange.

For example:
Original purchase: $15 + $5 (shipping)
Exchange 1: $22 + $5 (shipping) - you will pay $8
Exchange 2: $7 + $5 (shipping) - you will be refunded $8
Exchange 3: $15 + $5 (shipping) - even exchange, no payment or refund

REFUNDS
If you just can't find another item you'd like, I will happily issue a full refund of the purchase price, not including shipping, after I receive the item back from you. You will be responsible for paying the return shipping on the item.

Payment
I accept payment from Paypal. It's the most convenient and secure method of payment for myself and my customers. If you wish to or need to pay me by another method, feel free to send me a message and I will be happy to work with you!

I am now accepting Direct Pay from Etsy! I will happily accept your credit card or Etsy gift card payment.

Please pay for your purchases promptly - you will get your items faster and I won't have to send you a message asking for money. If I don't receive your payment within a week, I will send you a friendly reminder.
Shipping
SHIPPING METHOD
I love our US Postal Service and happily ship via USPS First Class, Priority, and Express mail. I will send ready-to-ship items within three days from the day your payment is received. For custom orders, I will ship the items within three days from the agreed-upon date of completion. I will be happy to add tracking or insurance to any items, as well as group items into combined shipment bundles.

If you would like to add tracking, insurance, priority, or express shipping to your item just send me a note and I will let you know the adjustment to cost.

PACKAGING
I reclaim as many shipping materials as I can and carefully package items to prevent any damage on their journey to their new homes, so I don't currently charge any extra handling or packaging fees. I encourage you to reuse or recycle the materials I use to ship to you, too!

LOST ITEMS
If you think your item is lost in transit, feel free to send me a message. Please double check your order to confirm that your address was given to me correctly, and check with your local post office to see if the package may be held up somewhere. Keep in mind that shipping to some areas via First Class mail may take longer than average - most postal services don't consider an item to be officially lost until 45 days have passed. Without tracking or insurance, I can't be held responsible for lost items. If your item was registered with a tracking number, I will be happy to work to resolve the loss with you.

DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
I package your purchases carefully to protect them during their travels between my home and yours. If you receive an item that is damaged due to my packaging, please contact me as soon as you receive it and I will happily work with you to resolve the issue. I can't refund or replace any uninsured items that are damaged during the normal shipment process, so don't hesitate to add insurance to your purchase if you have any worries about its safe arrival.

GIFT WRAP
Is your item a gift? Send me a note at the time of purchase and I will add customized gift packaging to your item for $1. I will also include a custom gift tag with your To & From information. If you're not sure whether you'd like it gift packaged or not, send me a note before your purchase!

INTERNATIONAL
International customers, please send me a message containing your postal code, country, and items you wish to purchase for an exact shipping quote. Please note that all customs forms will be filled out accurately, according to your order, and you will be responsible for paying any duties and fees incurred when your order enters your country.

AVAILABILITY
Communication is the key to building great relationships! It is extremely important to me to be open and available for communication with my customers, so if you ever have any questions please go ahead and drop me an email or a convo on Etsy. I check my in-boxes several times a day and I will reply to your message as soon as I see it.

CUSTOM ITEMS
I love creating one-of-a-kind items! See something in my shop that appeals to you, but isn't just quite right? Drop me an email or a convo and I will happily work with you to create a customized item just right for you or for a gift! I am also happy to do a creative swap - if you'd like to swap one of your items for one of mine, send me a message and we can strike a deal!

ALLERGIES
I have a dog and cats in my home (though my household is non-smoking). If you or your giftee are sensitive or allergic to pets, please consider this when you purchase from my shop! I do my best to keep allergens away from my work but some exposure is unavoidable. I will indicate on each textile item whether it has been washed and/or blocked - if your allergy is mild, you should be able to gently hand-wash items with a mild soap or detergent and hang or dry flat to combat any allergens that may have landed on your item.
