About

About Us!

We are a small family owned and operated Business. We currently only do small batch soaps and that is so we can stay on a more personal level with our customers.

We only sell online and locally. We are striving to eventually open a storefront, but for now we do everything out of our home so we don't advertise our location.

What makes The Howard Homestead different and why are our soaps a little more pricey than others? It all comes down to Quality. We will even go as far as to ask our customers to compare our Soaps to other soaps, We want you to.

Why? because in the end we do not use just the bare minimum and you as the customer should know what you are buying.

Most soaps you get for lower prices normally contain a minimum of 3 ingredients, some don't even list the ingredients because most of the time they are melt & pour soaps and they contain chemicals you can't pronounce. We don't do that.

Our soaps are made with all natural & organic oils. We list all of our ingredients so you know what you are getting. All of our soaps start with a hand measured base of Coconut, Olive, Sweet Almond and Castor oils as well as Cocoa and Shea butter.

We also use Argan oil, Rosehip oil, vitamin E and essential oils upon request. Each of our bars contain oils that you normally wouldn't get from anywhere else.

Care instructions

As with all soaps, To get the best use from your product. Always store your soaps in a cool dry area that is well ventilated.

2nd Cure Before Use:
We bag our bars in breathable bags to continue for a second curing process long after the first cure is done. You can continue this process by placing it in a drawer for 2-3 more days or wrap it in linens for a few days before you scrub up. Your linens will thank you for it.

Keep it Dry:
