Love these little booties!!! They are perfect!!!
This is my growing little collection of completely handmade, indie accessories and treasures. Handmade things inspire me to truly think about how I interact with the world, give back to our beautiful universe by injecting some love and creative beauty into it as so many others have, and deeply appreciate precious little details. I hope my items keep you inspired too!
Technicalities can be a pain to shoppers such as yourself. How will I pay? How will it ship? How do I know if they are an honest seller? Having had my share of bad shopping experiences I try to prevent any customer grief or discomfort before it happens. Here's a bit of info to, hopefully, make both your and my experiences buying and selling on Etsy as pleasant as can be!
Accepted payment methods

I accept Paypal as my main form of payment as it is one of the safest ways to pay and be paid online. I know your money is hard earned and want to make sure you are completely comfortable with how you pay.
As such I've also included the option of paying by check since I know some individuals don't feel comfortable with online payment at all. I want you too feel completely at ease with the payment method you choose so as soon as I receive your check I will let you know immediately and then ship out your item.
Lastly there's the option that appears as "other" on the check out form. That's the one where you and I have to work it out between us as to how I will receive your payment. I included this option mainly for friends and other people in my area who would prefer to browse my store online but pay and receive their item in person. So for this option you would leave me a message so we can set the details in stone.
I use USPS for all U.S. orders unless otherwise specified by the buyer. There will be an additional charge to use another carrier as their prices differ and it's less convenient for me but I want to know that I'm completely open to this option because I want you too feel completely happy and comfortable with every aspect of purchasing from my little shop and be able to confidently recommend The Inspired Owl to your friends and family.
Most of my items are in stock and not made to order (I will specify in the description if they are not yet made) and will therefore ship out immediately. Most packages arrive within 1 to 4 days from date shipped. If you need to me to rush ship it I can do so for an additional fee.
I am willing to ship internationally as the option states in my store but will not assume responsibility for any packages lost or stolen in customs as it is out of my hands at that point and I have no control.
If my shipping prices seem strange to you it's because I approximate while I'm listing. If I find out it's a little higher than my average guess to ship the item I just cover it from my own pocket as I don't want high shipping costs to keep you from ordering something you love. If it looks too low just assume I'm throwing in a nice little discount just for you.
Refunds and Exchanges
The best way to avoid having to return at all is to keep communication flowing even before you purchase if you are unsure of something about the item. Just send me a message about the item in question and I will reply in a timely manner. I get email updates about my etsy activity so I will know right away. Don't be shy as I love getting messages, am easy to talk to with and love working with you to create exactly what you need (I love doing custom orders too:) if something seems amiss.
Most of my items are one of a kind or extremely limited addition so I'm shipping you the actual one pictured. I like to do this so you feel confident you know what you're getting and that it's a truly unique item and to avoid any need to send things back.
If something arrives, let's say, broken (most of my items are soft and durable and wouldn't break even if you ran them over with your car buts let's imagine shipping something like http://www.etsy.com/listing/94682531/tiny-light-bulb-necklace-the-get).
It arrives, you're excited, you open it...broken... :'(
Now I pack seriously well on anything slightly breakable but if it somehow decides to shatter even enveloped the fluffy protective cloud of packing material it will be in, simply send it back to my address, which is the return address on your package, within 10 days of receiving it and I will either fix it or ship you a new one if it's not one of a kind or a similar item (or store credit) if it is.
Bottom line is I love bringing people joy with what I make and I want you to feel really satisfied with what you get. So to follow that up, if you receive an item that looked like it was a different color on your monitor you may also send it back if it is in completely new and unworn condition for a different color if I offer color choices in the listing.
