About

Contemporary designs handcrafted with love and care

That I’m making jewellery today is more by default than design. My early creative career revolved around photography – first as B&W photographic printer and later as shoot producer at a photographic agency representing fashion photographers in the UK and Paris.

I made the switch from the darkroom to a desk job as shoot producer at the time when digital photography took over. Although I’ve enjoyed pulling fashion shoots together I knew in the back of my mind that this wasn’t something I wanted to do forever. I really missed being creative. The question was what was I going to do? The answer came when beloved necklace broke, I set about mending it and before I knew it I was hooked….the rest as they say is history. I now design and make all my jewellery myself and I’m a stickler for detail.

I'm self taught and my jewellery starts with an idea, some rough drawings and then develops through a 'hands-on' approach by playing with different combinations ‘till I arrive with something that really works for me and is piece of jewellery that I would be happy to wear. It's immensely satisfying to watch a piece coming together by your own hands.
