16 Years In The Making... And Thats Just the Start!
Knit & Stitch was first set up just over a year ago as Joe Carlton Crafts - at this point my shop was going to stock my creations from the crafts i have been taught and picked up from the years previous. However, i then felt that i wanted the shop to me more 'professional' - with the use of grey and moss green i then created and branded my products in the shop with the name Knit and Stitch, using K&S as an abbreviation.
At the moment my shop currently stocks :-
Scarves - All the scarves are either knitting or crochet by myself with specialty balls of yarn - i continuously look at up and coming fashions and colour trends to find the nicest yarns for me to hand pick. Soon to be introduced will be a 'Back to Basics' range, allowing customers to have more affordable luxury!
Cushions - All the cushions are created by myself using my own designs from fabrics that i have collected from fairs and the remnants thats are left from the shop in which i work.
Ribbons - Brand new to my shop are a range of British in sired ribbons, hand picked - these ribbons are perfect as label son your won creations, gift wrapping and wonderful craft creations.
All the items that i create and select are all done from home in England, i then create the labels and packaging along with imagery and listing them on my Etsy shop - making the whole process truly british! All this is done in-between my job and being in education, considering i am only 16 - however i am always learning new things as i go on.
In the future i hope to start my own paper craft design, fabrics, buttons and more affordable products within my shop. Whilst at the same time trying to keep track of it all on my blog - http://knitandstitchblog.blogspot.co.uk/
