Like Wine the Best Things in Life get Better with Age!
A Family's passed down passion preserves the history and speaks to you about the stories of generations past.
As far as I can recall I have been involved with antiques. Not such a surprise when you know that I grew up in the Northern Lake Area of Minnesota : Gull Lake, Crosby and Brainerd! It is a family affair : my grand father used to take me on flea markets and got me hooked on auctions. Grandpa could see the value on any item, even the most ugliest lamp you could find (it was actually my first purchase with him). My parents specialized in pottery (Red Wings...) and unique primitive american furnitures (Stillwater...). They were early Ebay enthusiasts in the mid 90's and I have learned a lot from them. I still recall the excitment of my first Ebay sale in 1996, a wash bowl and pitcher, I was then 17!
My knowledge of American Midwest Antiques was of very little use when I got stationed near Trier, Germany! I was exposed to centuries old antiques and learned quickly about Europe History with a main focus on Art Deco area and the World Wars militaria. I have met my wife in Paris and we share this passion together now with our kids. My 8 year old son is specializing in war militaria (WWI and II medals) and stamps. It has been over a decade now that we have been hunting for antiques world wide.
We are now transitioning from a celtic fisherman village in Brittany France to the french old quarter of Pondichéry, India! Etsy is for us the perfect place to display our findings and share our love of antiques!

Flea Market Little Helpers
For an american that was living in Brittany (a Celtic region of France), each outing was like a treasure hunt or a wonderful discovery of amazing places full of history, from the ancient celtic sites to the second world war bunkers and artefacts, there was always something incredible to discover. Now that I have relocated in Pondicherry India, I'll get the chance to find new treasures and as always I will keep offering you the best of my findings along with a few stories of my new journey through this exquisite country!
Thanks for looking at my shop and have a great day!
