I’ve used the medium size to knit a swatch for the Haley sweater and it’s a pleasure to use! Smooth, yet the wood lends enough grip to not fall out from the stitches. I had initially wanted the darker wood, however it sold out but it ended up being a good thing. The blond wood is dark enough for light coloured yarn, and light and black enough to see with dark coloured yarn.

The Little Knitting Company™ (TLKC™) is a family run independent online business located in rural Oxfordshire near Uffington's historic White Horse. Since early 2008 we have been sourcing interesting yarns and developing little knit kits together with our beautiful hand-crafted albizia and subabul knitting needles. Over time we have extended the range of wooden needles offered and now sell needles from 6in to 16in long, in sizes ranging from the teeny tiny 2.5mm up to a whopping 20mm. Our natural buttons and toggles are a treat and can be painted or waxed to tone with your project.
