these spurs are amazing. Super cool rustic, with a feline touch...hearts adorn each one. They are a great accent to my collection of odd pottery and antiques.

About

HOW THE LITTLE ROAD DECIDED TO SAY GO!!

One thing my husband learned very quickly about me, is that I constantly live in a state of chaos. Which is actually quite the conundrum for me, because I'm completely anal retentive. That being said, our home is in a constant state of remodel. I'm not sure Ill ever stop, look around and say "Well I'm done, its perfect." So, when we decided to create The Little Road Said Go! it just made perfect sence. Were constantly finding old items and upcycling them for our home. Why the heck can't we make money at this? I have a background in architectural and interior design. I've studied antique history pretty much my whole life, just as a hobby, and I'm not afraid of a sewing machine or a glue gun. My husband, bless his heart, has the good sence (or maybe bad) to follow along. There are 2 things that really stemmed us to start this business. 1. We got married. Yes most people do, I know, but we decided to save as much money as possible and do everything ourselves. Thousands and thousands of beads, moss, flowers, signs, wreaths, and tons of other stuff later, we finally had a kick ass wedding that we busted our asses (and many of our friends asses) to make happen, and in the end, almost every one of our 150 guests said; "Ya know, you guys should sell this stuff!" And so the idea was planted. 2. We went on a Honeymoon. We went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon. We didn't plan a single minute of it, we just showed up at the airport, looked at each other and said; "Well now what?" Long story short, we survived, actually survived quite well, had the time of our lives actually, but one thing I found out about myself was that I love to wright. Something I never really considered because I can't spell to save my life, but as we traveled town to town, I wrote home, describing our experiences in detail. When we came home all of our family and friends said; "Ya know, you really should write more." So we started a blog, originally a traveling blog called "The Little Road Said Go. The Little House Said Stay." (Trust me, were already writing the children's book.) The more we thought about our future life and travels, the more we thought about just buying an old 1950's trailer and traveling the US. Well we haven't quite made that happen yet, but somehow along the way the idea of selling our crafts and antiques and our dream of owning a travel trailer melted into the same thing. We currently travel the Seattle craft fair and farmers market circuit hauling our 1950's Shasta travel trailer full of Little Road goodies for the masses! We shortened the name to just "The Little Road Said Go!" and it suits what we do just perfectly. Aside from traveling around in our little Shasta, we consign our wares in local shops around the Seattle area and sell here on Etsy. We've met some amazing people and had some amazing experiences, and its been one of the funest (and scaryest) leaps we've ever taken, but were having the time of our lives.

Shipping
All of my items will be shipped through USPS or UPS. All items within the U.S.A. will be trackable and insurance will be added to any package that is breakable or over $50. Unfortunately, as to keep shipping costs down, we are not currently able to offer tracking or insurance on international packages unless you would like to customize a listing to include additional shipping specifications and costs. International buyers (outside the U.S.) are responsible for any customs fees required by your specific country, as I am not able to estimate fees such as these into the listing price of my items. Please allow up to a week for your item to be shipped, unless otherwise specified for custom orders.
Refunds and Exchanges
All sales are final. Exceptions can be made if item arrives damaged or if you feel the item is grossly misrepresented in its description. We take pride to make sure we involve all our customers purchasing a custom listing with adequate communication and photos before the item is shipped. As well, we try to provide very detailed descriptions of the item in our listings. Returned items must arrive in the same condition they were originally shipped. Unfortunately shipping expenses cannot be refunded.

International Sales: To keep international shipping expenses affordable for our customers, we unfortunately are not able to refund any item that is lost or damaged during international shipping, as additional shipping protection significantly raises shipping expenses to you. If you would like to add additional shipping protection to your order, please feel free to send us a private message and we will be happy to send you a new shipping quote. If your item is lost or damaged, please notify us and we will still do our best to rectify the situation within our means.
