Quick shipping and plants arrived in good condition. Thank You !
Our shop started with my husband's creation of Living Art on recycled slate. I said, "That's beautiful honey" and we started collecting and learning more about these wonderful plants.
Now, you may say "that's easy", but for us (mostly me) it was a leap of faith to start buying any kind of plant because I have killed every plant I ever bought (and the plants bought for me). Yes, every one. From fruit trees, vegetables, potted plants, hanging plants, cacti, and even "lucky" bamboo. Anything that has lived in our yard was a fluke and testament to the tenacity to survive all living things possess.
We had a lot to learn and even now we are still learning. We've already upgraded our nursery to accommodate more tillys and eventually, we (at least I) would like to have all 600 or so varieties of tillandsias. We are well on our way. We'd also like to help save our Florida native species, of which many are endangered due to over collection and destruction of habitat.
We are amazed daily with these tillys, their shapes and colors and the fact that you can do anything with them. Because they don't need dirt, we've made centerpieces, ornaments, hanging mobiles, terrariums and we're always thinking of new ways to use them. Recently, I've taken to wearing my plants around in jewelry sets we've created, they always get attention!
Both of us enjoy the creative process and sometimes we have a hard time selling pieces that have become favorites and of course, we have a house full of our Living Art. There's a special ornament hanging as a fan pull in our living room and more ornaments adorn the front porch, as well as the centerpiece for our coffee table (we let them take turns inside) just because we also enjoy having them around. Tim and I actually have pieces at the office on our desks that we get to enjoy.
It's a little tougher now that we are both working full time, but it is still a joy to create new ways to enjoy and share our tillys!
So that's our story...and we're sticking to it.

Most artwork made here is from recycled materials and all plants are locally grown here in Florida. These works of art continue to flower and grow for years to come. All items come with an instruction sheet for the easy care of the plants.
Although we like to photograph our art with plants that are in bloom, we will send a young plant unless otherwise specified so that you can enjoy the bloom as well because most Tillandsias will only bloom once in their life. Some artwork will include the exact plants as shown. At times, plants featured in some art may not be available but we will contact you regarding other wonderful plants or allow you to cancel your order prior to shipping.
Your satisfaction is our highest priority. If your art makes you as happy as it did us, write a comment and share it. We love to read the feedback from patrons. Please ask us questions if you think your plants may have a problem, we cannot help if you do not tell us there is a problem.
You can request custom items made. Custom listings will be re-listed if not purchased within 72 hours unless you specify a date. Please see the shop info section. We will also be happy to present a note and drop ship to the people on your gift list, just make sure the details (name, address, card or note to be given) are listed in the buyer's note section when you purchase or convo us.
Enjoy your shopping experience and thanks for visiting.
