4 out of 5 starsThe pattern is not written super clearly or at least not in USA terms. I had a bit of an issue with starting the foot until I finally figured out what the pattern was saying. The toy turned out really cute though. This toy is for a baby so I tacked down the helmet with stitches on the 21st row instead of gluing it. I sewed the straps of the backpack down and then sewed the bottom of the backpack to his back. I also only put one piece of cardboard in the backpack (the side that hits the back) as this toy will be for a baby and I wanted it softer. I embroidered the embellishments instead of gluing felt.
