About

Tin and Paper...Elevated in Beauty

I've been cutting anything I could get my hands on since I was a young girl. While other children were told not to run into the street, I was the one being told not to run with scissors! I remember summer days of cutting out Betsy McCall paper dolls with my grandmother or making snowflakes while peppering the floor with white scraps. When it came to making jewelry, I returned to my roots of cutting...still with paper, but also colorful and whimsical tin containers of all kinds.

My work has been featured in publications Cloth Paper Scissors, Sew Somerset, and Jewelry Affaire.

I've been creating jewelry from sealed paper and tin since 2006. I jumped on the Etsy bandwagon with my wares as The Mad Cutter in 2011. My jewelry is also sold locally.
