Als kind bracht ik talloze uren door met een metaaldetector, op zoek naar vergeten stukjes geschiedenis die onder de grond verborgen lagen. Die fascinatie voor het verleden is me altijd bijgebleven. Ook nu nog geniet ik van metaaldetectie, het verzamelen van antiek en het zoeken naar unieke vintage vondsten met een verhaal.
Ik heb al mijn hele leven een passie voor geschiedenis, met name de Engelse geschiedenis, en ik ben het gelukkigst als ik ronddwaal in antiekwinkels, historische plekken, musea, kastelen en oude dorpjes. Reizen heeft me naar veel prachtige plekken gebracht, maar Engeland blijft een speciale favoriet en inspireert nog steeds het karakter van deze winkel.
The Manor House Mouse is een verzameling schatten die ik onderweg heb ontdekt. Van vintage decoratie, antiek, kunstwerken, glaswerk, verzamelobjecten tot andere stukken die de tand des tijds hebben doorstaan. Ik geloof dat elk item een verhaal heeft en ik vind het fijn om die stukken te verbinden met mensen die er nog jarenlang plezier van zullen hebben.
Elk artikel wordt zorgvuldig gefotografeerd, eerlijk beschreven en met grote zorg verpakt, zodat het veilig op de nieuwe bestemming aankomt.

As a child, I spent countless hours exploring with a metal detector, searching for forgotten pieces of history hidden beneath the ground. That fascination with the past never left me. Today, I still enjoy metal detecting, antiquing, and searching for unique vintage finds that tell a story.
I have a lifelong love of history, particularly English history, and I’m happiest wandering through antique shops, historic sites, museums, castles, and old villages. Travel has taken me to many wonderful places, but England remains a special favorite and continues to inspire the character of this shop.
The Manor House Mouse is a collection of treasures discovered along the way. From vintage décor, antiques, artwork, glassware, collectibles, and other pieces that have survived the passage of time. I believe every item has a story, and I enjoy connecting those pieces with people who will appreciate them for years to come.
Each item is carefully photographed, honestly described, and packaged with great care so it arrives safely at its new home.
