The Middle Button: A Slow Adventure
I have to make things. My hands whimper and whine if they're not doing anything. They get bored, and itch to sketch a new design, work out a difficult pattern. Therefore, when I came across Etsy a few years ago, I thought it would be the perfect outlet for my creativity.
But, since I was still in school, my shop filled up very slowly; and my first few sales were last-minute Alchemy requests, which I, naive, undercharged for. I continued to make whatever popped into my head with whatever I could lay my hands on. Before long, I realized that I Did Not like patterns. No, sirree. Constricting, nasty things! I developed a new cable technique, and realized that I ought to be writing patterns, since I wasn't using them.
Meanwhile, life around my shop was going faster than a mile a minute. My nieces and nephews continued to multiply, and I found myself visiting wherever and whenever I could. Delighting in this life, my drive for my shop dwindled until finally I realized that The Middle Button wasn't going anywhere unless I kept pushing it forward.
So, here goes this slow adventure! At this pace, I might get where I'm going in a few decades... but that's what happens when you take the time to smell the roses.

Additional policies and FAQs
I have three points that I price by:
Type of material: I try to get as many things as possible on sale, and if I can, I pass on these good prices to you.
Amount of material: The bigger the item, the more material it takes; the lacier the item, the less material it takes; items are priced accordingly.
Amount of detail/time: Although I don't have a specific price-per-hour I charge for labor, I do gauge prices by approximately how long and tedious each item was to make.
For custom items, I charge a non-refundable down-payment of 15% of the estimated final cost before beginning the project, and the remaining 85% on completion of the project.

Items will arrive wrapped attractively in white tissue paper and tied with a scrap of yarn. If you wish to add a personal message, just let me know; I'd be happy to do it!
