So glad one of my customers requested my mermaid invites and thank yous in this colorway a while back! Now I not only have The Little Mermaid-esque version with red hair, but this more ethereal blonde version, too.
Packaging up some birth announcements and swooning over her newborn bow/hat. Totally makes me nostalgic for when my littles were born!
Now that I am offering custom covers on my baby books, I get to see the cute little people that these books will feature and hopefully bless for many years to come - like this little doll... I die!

About

Remember that time I got laid off?

It was the best thing that ever happened to me.

It was the push I needed to try something new and follow my passions.

A little bit about me…
I’m obsessed with paper products; stationery, notebooks, stickers… the digital age will not steal away my love for pen and paper. I have 3 kids under the age of 6 and because of this, I work in 5-minute increments throughout the day. I am neither a morning person, nor a night person and I perform my best between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., so message me accordingly (just kidding). I love a good cup of french press coffee - and a piece of chocolate to go alongside it. My shop name, Nuts & Bolts, is an homage to my blog - The Mombot (she’s a mom robot, naturally). I eat chips and salsa almost every night at 9 p.m. (don’t judge).

I live and breathe design. When I’m driving, I call out fonts on billboards; I notice stock photography pictures that I’ve almost bought; I get inspired by the pattern in a shop window backdrop. I gravitate toward tassels and pom poms and gold spray paint… it’s no wonder I’m always running late.

Whether you’re looking for an invitation for a party, a notebook for your daily to-dos, or a memory book to last you a lifetime, know that I have poured lots of time, energy and love into each of my products. And I hope you love them just as much as I do.

Feel free to browse!

xoxo

Item must be returned in original packaging, including original shipping box or similar box. If the item is damaged during return shipment due to inappropriate packaging, no refund will be given. It is recommended that you mail it back via USPS Priority Mail so that the package is insured and will arrive within 1-3 days. Your refund will not include original shipping charges, only the cost of the item. No refunds can be given on custom covers for baby books, but you can receive a refund for the cost of the book and any other pages/packages purchased that were not customized.

I do not accept returns on custom orders at this time.

If you wish to return a printable item, I must receive your request within 24 hours of purchase. However, if I have already begun any round of proofs, the item has already been emailed to you or you have downloaded it directly, no refunds can be given. I am not liable for inconsistencies in printing on digital items.

For all items purchased that require personalization: If you order an item that requires you provide me with additional information (i.e. names, addresses, photos) you have up to 30 days to send me the info. After that point, your item will be marked as shipped and no refunds will be given.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS { FAQs }

ONE // How do I print your kraft paper designs? //
Any digital listings that have a kraft paper background are meant to be printed on WHITE cardstock. You DO NOT have to buy kraft paper to print on. The faux kraft paper design will print on your white cardstock and the white font that you see will actually be the white cardstock showing through. It is necessary to do this way because you cannot print in white ink using a normal printer.

TWO // What if I need rush processing on a digital item? //
I do have rush processing available as a separate listing in my shop. Most items can be pushed to the top of my production list with a 24-hour turnaround, though wedding sets will take 48. If you wish to receive your digital file within 24-48 hours, please purchase rush processing along with your item: https://www.etsy.com/listing/175547029/rush-processing-for-all-printable?ref=shop_home_active_7

THREE // What is the difference between receiving a JPEG or a PDF? //
On most of my invitations, I offer the choice of a JPEG or PDF file (JPEG is usually the default and PDF is by request only). The JPEG is a single image file that is perfect if you plan on printing your invitation as a photo at a retailer like Target, Costco, Walgreens, etc. The PDF version is what you would request if you wish to print on cardstock and cut the invitations out yourself. All PDFs come as an 8.5 x 11" file with multiple invites per page (depends on size of invite).

FOUR // How do I print my digital items on my home printer? //
1. Whenever you print from home, I suggest printing on 80-100 lb white cardstock for best quality. Before you print, look at your print settings and be sure to uncheck any option that says “shrink or scale to printable area” or "fit to page" or something similar - most printers default to this, but you DO NOT want your printer to resize the design, or your final sizing will be off and if you are printing a backside to your design, the front and back will likely not line up.
2. If you are printing a back side to your design, reload the pages you just printed into your printer following instructions on your printer for which side to place facing up. Print the back side just as you did the front; unchecking any option that says “shrink or scale to printable area.”
3. Cut out the cards following the lines/cropmarks on the front of the invitation. If you printed correctly, the back side should be perfectly centered on your card after cutting.

FIVE // I want to print my digital item with an online printer like Vistaprint.com, can you set my file up to print with them? //
Yes, however there will be an additional file set-up charge ($5 per item). Each online printer has different requirements. You will need to find out the exact specifications needed from your printer (file type and size, including bleeds) and let me know. I will then set you up a custom listing for the charge.
