With a background in Art History and a life-long passion for all things vintage, I began selling antiques and vintage goods in my hometown of Kansas City, Missouri, nearly two decades ago. Before becoming a full time vintage dealer I have worked for the Jackson County, MO Historical Society Archives and have 13 years experience at the Kansas City Public Library where I worked for the Missouri Valley Special Collections Local History Department for part of my employment there. I have also worked for the Kansas City Auction Company where I was able to both share and expand my knowledge of antique and vintage items. After several successful years selling at local antique markets, fairs and auction houses, I decided to share my growing collection with a broader audience and THE NAKED MAN was born!

THE NAKED MAN specializes in classic 20th Century Gentlemen's Fashions and Accessories from the 1920s to the 1980s. These vintage pieces were made to last with craftsmanship that is too often lacking in today's mass manufacturing. Our biggest thrill is in rescuing and finding the perfect home for these quality vintage pieces.

We scour estate sales, flea markets and resale shops throughout the Midwest, hunting high and low to bring to our shop a handpicked collection of vintage menswear and accessories that reflect our customers' style and encompass today's trends. We are fortunate to be based in a part of the country where vintage goods are abundant and affordable, allowing us to offer our vintage items at prices accessible to all vintage collectors.

THE NAKED MAN also provides vintage clothing, costumes and props for theater, film and television productions.
