I regularly visit local boot sales, charity shops, internet sites and shows searching for vintage homeware pieces. All of the items that I sell can help make a home even more of a home as they have their very own past, characteristics and charm. I make sure that the items that I sell are practical, usable and are good quality products that have life left in them.

I think it is such a shame to let beautiful vintage pieces go to waste or even worse be thrown away. The world is very eager to recycle plastic, glass, paper and so on, at the moment so why not recycle homeware too. By purchasing a vintage item you are taking part in the recycle process.

If you have any questions about any of the items please contact me.

Refunds and Exchanges
I do not allow exchanges or refunds for my vintage items as it is too hazardous for customers to post back their unwanted products, such as glass, pottery, etc.

I can not be responsible for any damage done to products in transit as there is no way of proving that the damage has been done accidentally in transit. Therefore if your product is damaged when it arrives then please let me know and I will see what I can do to help, however NO REFUND will be given.

If your item has been lost in the post I am afraid without proof that you have not received it I can not help. Using recorded post allows me to track packages so that I can be informed when you have received your parcel or if it is still in transit.
Additional policies and FAQs
How old are your items?

The items I sell are mostly from the mid-late 20th Century including the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. The products that I choose to sell all have a retro facade about them as I personally love the style of mid century design.

Where do you find your items?

I find my items from lots of places including boot sales, charity shops, shows, the internet and even from people who just want to get rid of their things. If I think it is appealing, still useable and has life left in it then I sell it here on my etsy shop.

Are any of your items very valuable or rare?

Most of my items are rare as they are from previous decades and a lot of the same product will have been destroyed by now. I sometimes do come across some valuable items, if an item is valuable then I will describe this factor in its description.

I aim to be a good sales person so if there is anything I can do to make your experience with The Nest any better then please let me know.
