Welcome to Nostalgic Fox~ this store has turned into a rather strange blend of antiques and vintage items, handmade jewelry and other craft items, art, and custom made dresses. We will probably be splitting off into two separate shops here soon, and will keep you posted on that.
I have a very GREEN philosophy here~ re-use, re-cycle, re-purpose, re-sell~ We repair and revamp a lot of items~ give items a chance at a second life~ rescue items that most people would throw in the trash~ reclaim items that may have been forgotten or underappreciated!!! I am a bit of a hoarder, and I've been collecting things for many years. So in order to BUY more fun things, and MAKE more fun things, I have to SELL them and make room. So that is how this store came into being.

Payment
We accept many different forms of payment. Checkout through ETSY, where you can use a debit or credit card or Etsy gift cards~ Paypal~ Amazon payments~ Money Order~ and personal check (checks will have to clear before items ship). Please pay for your items within 3 days of purchase, or contact me to let me know how much time you need. Sales tax is applied to residents of Kentucky at a rate of 6%

We offer a FREE LAYAWAY plan for items $30 or more. Just pay 20% down and the balance is broken up into 4 easy payment, over 2 months... payments due every 2 weeks. Contact me if you would like to use this option for an item.
Shipping
Our APPROXIMATE handling time is 2-5 business days, but if we happen to be waiting for a restock order, it can be a little longer. We are small, and don't have a huge amount of space, so we cannot buy huge amounts of one particular fabric at a time. We prefer to have a LOT of selections, rather than a crap load of a few. So we are constantly reordering stock. Please be patient with us! We work very hard to get your orders out as fast as possible!!
We are currently unable to do rush or overnight orders at this time. Orders are processed in the order that they are received.
***** PLEASE ALLOW FROM 1-2 WEEKS for delivery of your fabric and custom made orders. This is for DOMESTIC orders~ international orders will take additional time for delivery.
All items are insured and will have a tracking number/delivery confirmation with guaranteed delivery, with the exception of 1st class international. Non domestic buyers must request priority or express shipping in order to have an insured and guaranteed package that can be tracked.
We package our items very well for shipping. We rarely have an item damaged during transit.


WE DO NOT ADD ON OR PAY FOR CUSTOMS DUTIES/IMPORT FEES. THESE ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. We have no way of knowing what these will be, or if they will be imposed. Be aware that you may be liable for these fees, and will be responsible for paying them at time of delivery. PLEASE DO NOT YELL AT US ABOUT CUSTOMS FEES...... yell at your countries' customs office instead. They are the ones who are charging, not us!

NO items with a value of $50 or more will be shipping WITHOUT INSURANCE. In most cases, insurance is already added into the amount of shipping. We guarantee delivery of all of our packages, with the exception of first class international. That is the cheapest way to send packages to other countries, and most customers will choose that option if given a choice, but because the packages are NOT trackable, we are not responsible for them once they have left the United States. If an item arrives DAMAGED BY THE CARRIER, and it requires an insurance claim to be filed, sufficient proof of the damage will be required from the buyer, i.e. detailed pictures of the item as well as the packaging, and in some cases may have to be picked back up by the shipper. No refunds for damaged items will be given WITHOUT proper documentation.

WE DO OFFER COMBINED SHIPPING for most of our items~ exceptions are framed art, or other items that may be unsuitable for shipping with other items in the same package. "Shipped with another item" amounts in the listing are given as being 50% off, but it could be much less or more, it just depends on WHAT the item(s) is/are that's being shipped with. If you are purchasing more than one item, and need a shipping quote beforehand, just contact me before making payment. Otherwise, if you overpay for combined shipping, we will issue you a refund for the overage amount, before the item is shipped.

ALL of our DOMESTIC and PRIORITY/EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL packages are guaranteed, and insurance is included in the price of shipping. International first class is our default method for packages under 4 lbs because it's much more economical. However, these can not be tracked or insured so we are not responsible for Lost, Stolen, or Damaged by Carrier items that have been shipped via this method. Insured items that arrive damaged and a claim has to be filed, will require the that the buyer provide adequate evidence of the damage before claim can be filed.
Refunds and Exchanges
14 day return~ all returns must be received within 14 days to qualify for full refund unless prior arrangements have been made. The must be sent with tracking and we must be notified when the package has shipped. Otherwise there could be a delay in processing your return.
We offer returns for ANY REASON if not 100% satisfied with your purchase. Of course, if you are returning due to the item being NOT AS DESCRIBED, refunds are 100% of total paid, including shipping. If you are returning for any other reason (doesn't fit, wrong size purchased, changed mind, etc..) then we will deduct shipping/handling charges and 15% restocking fee. Small, petty condition issues on VINTAGE items are not considered "item not as described". When you buy vintage/old items, they WILL almost always have wear, marks,etc. We try to describe everything well, but will not take an hour to point out every tiny little thing. If you feel like you need to see an item better, or need more information, feel free to ask questions. We only have room for 5 pictures in the listing That means not everything will be able to be shown. Additional pictures are available upon request. Returns/refunds for antique/vintage items will be for purchase price only.. Unless it's BROKEN when you recieve it, or completely described incorrectly, there will be a restock fee and shipping costs are non refundable.

If you would like to return an item, Just send us a message stating why you are returning. This needs to be done within 3 days of recieving the item. Once you have let us know you are returning, you can send back to the return address on your shipping label. Refunds will be credited to you quickly if process is followed as directed.

Buyer pays for return shipping costs

**Returns MUST BE INITIATED WITHIN 14 DAYS of receipt of package and must be received in the same condition that they were shipped to the buyer in. This means that the item MUST HAVE BEEN SHIPPED OUT within 14 days of delivery. d All tags must be on the garment or item, if applicable, and package must have tracking and be insured if valued over $50

**You will receive a RAN or Return Authorization Number, that is to be written on the OUTSIDE of the package. It is important that you contact us PRIOR to returning the item, and that you get the number. Returning an item before contacting us and getting the return number could result in delay of your refund.

**If you send an item back without an RAN, and the post date is beyond 7 days of receipt of the item by the buyer, a minimum of an additional 15% of the total will be deducted from the refund, and if it's been over 14 days, with no contact from the buyer, no refund will be given.
