Announcement   Inside are vintage, reasonably priced, worthy, or even weird curios for your application and delectation. Some have been my own and others were ferreted out of thrift stores, scrounged from garage sales or storage units and a few have been mercifully rescued from the trash. Let it be known that my mailed parcels are not pretty, but they are tidy. I use clean, recycled packing materials, because it keeps down costs and it's the right thing to do. So, welcome! Hang out. Have a look around and thank you for stopping by.

About

The shop I named after myself.

Since I was a kid I've been pegged as peculiar (odd) and, now, time has installed me in the society of the god Geras (old). Though more vintage (and worn) than a lot of the things in my shop, this crone remains as trusty (tried) and as steady as Gibraltar (true).

Funky old stuff, whilom ways - I love them. I guess I've always turned back, looking over my shoulder remembering, or wondering, how things were - not because they seemed better, but that they were distinctive and had more personality and exuberance.

Decades ago, my best friend introduced me to the thrill of antique shops and the funk of junk and secondhand stores. I've been on the prowl ever since and even got to educate my enchantment with the stuff of yore while working at a thrift shop for several years.

I look for things I'd personally like to own at a price I'm willing to pay. For a brief while I get to be caretaker to mellow snippets of the past. Then, when the time is right, they're displayed to the world and offered at a fair value. It's unlikely I'll make bank, but it does satisfy a modest craving, plus, I've learned oceans and met some really wonderful and interesting people along the way.

I hope you'll enjoy perusing my modest medley of bygone wares.
