About

My Journey Through the Camera's Eye

My Mission Statement:

"From the moment I could hold a pencil to a sheet of paper I knew I had a creative soul. After years of shooting photos with my old Pentax film SLR, I finally made the leap to digital and discovered a whole new world of possibilities. In my images you will find a special artistic vision with eye-catching techniques, distressed textures, and vintage hues. From nature to the urban landscape, Oregon is my home and my camera creates the canvas. It is my greatest joy to share my home with you, the viewer, in all it's beauty and eclectic charm. Home, sweet Oregon."

I am a photographer currently based out of Portland, Oregon. I'm joined at the hip by my Canon 6D DSLR, and Photoshop is my right-hand-man.

Anything funky, retro, reclaimed, rustic, colorful, and fun calls to me, and my photos are a reflection of my dreams, wishes, and vision. I see beauty in the distressed and everyday objects, as well as the gritty urban landscape.

Currently I reside with my husband Pat and a constant revolving door of close friends and family, a dog, and a kitty. It's a little crazy sometimes, but there's no shortage of interesting times to be had!

Hi!

Welcome to my little corner of Etsy! I was so pleased to find this place, and have admired work by talented artists here for years, but never taken the plunge to open shop.

I am experimental with my camera and it goes EVERYWHERE with me; we're quite joined at the hip! My next step is always Photoshop: I utilize CS5, Nik Tools, Topaz Plugins, and Magic Bullet Photolooks for editing, and take great pride in this crucial step.

All photos will be printed on professional archival paper from my Canon Pixma Pro9000 Mark II, and shipped in sturdy packaging that (should!) withstand any beating the post office throws at it.

Thank you for browsing and finding me. :)

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I only accept Papal, as it is the easiest and safest way I have found to send and receive funds. You do NOT need a PayPal account to pay by credit card. Just select the "PayPal" button at checkout and follow the instructions.

Payment must be made within 48 hours of purchase or the sale will be considered void. If there are circumstances that prevent immediate payment within the allotted time, please contact me. Your item will ship once payment has cleared.

Oregon enjoys no sales tax, so you can enjoy as well.
Shipping
PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 48 HOURS of purchase. Please contact me if circumstances require more time. I know that life happens, and will try to be flexible as possible, but without communication the sale will be considered null and void after 48 hours.

I will combine shipping on multiple items, but will only ship to your valid Etsy address. Generally it will come by USPS First-Class, but if you would prefer Priority or another method, please state so in our communication.

$6.50 will be the general charge within the US, but International will be quoted and calculated as need be and at my discretion. This charge INCLUDES delivery-confirmation service, and I refuse to ship without it. If you would like to add insurance to your package there will be an additional small post-office fee.

INTERNATIONAL buyers are most welcome! You will be responsible for your country's respective customs fees.

As I can't follow my dreams entirely and quit my day-job, keep in mind that I DO work an irregular schedule and shipping-days will generally be Monday, Wednesday, Friday. If you pay on a Thursday there is a small chance that your order will not reach the mail until Monday...such is life, but I will try my best!
Refunds and Exchanges
I take pride in my work, and pursued photography as I love making people happy with my images...this means that I will do my best to make you happy with your order.

I will contact you upon shipment, and would appreciate knowing when your item has been received as well (that way I can stop sweating it!). Delivery-confirmation is a wonderful USPS service, but there's nothing like a personal note to say what the post-office can't.

Unfortunately I am unable to issue refunds on custom orders. All sales are final.

I will not be responsible for damages incurred at the post-office.
Additional policies and FAQs
My computer monitor has been calibrated to show colors in the way that I intend them to look. All monitors differ in the way they display true colors/textures, but I can assure you that the print you receive is the way I (as the artist) saw them.

Any vignetting, film-grain, blur, etc. was post-processed by myself, and these "flaws" are the way the image was intended to look.
