Our cards are so beautiful, they certainly exceeded our expectations. We cannot wait to send them to our family and friends. This is such a cool concept, far better than generic moving cards. We could not be happier.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

I don't accept cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
For any and all custom order requests, there will be no refunds on deposits or final payments once made. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason after the deposit has been made, you can absolutely do that, but your deposit will not be returned. Once you have made final payment, your order will be completed and we will not accept any returns.

Michelle carefully proofreads all paper goods prior to printing and again prior to shipping. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that all spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization is correct on the proof emailed to you.



For all other orders, Michelle is happy to accept returns and/or exchanges. The full purchase amount minus any shipping costs will be refunded upon receipt of the returned object. (Please note that generally the true cost to ship is higher than the actual shipping charge that the customer pays. IE, You may buy an item for $50 and pay $5 in shipping, however the true cost to ship the item might be $10. You would be refunded $45--the total paid minus the true shipping cost.)
Payment
****Bingo Cards Downloads****

Upon receipt of payment, Michelle will begin working on customizing your bingo cards/invitations. Michelle will contact you within two business days, sending you a digital proof to approve and/or discussing any needed customizations.




****Custom Design Process including Wedding Invitations****

If you're interested in custom work including wedding invitations, contact Michelle letting her know which design you're interested in or if you'd like to start on a completely custom design.

In order to begin the design work, The Paper Canary requires a $100 deposit. This deposit includes the initial digital proof emailed to you and up to 2 additional rounds of changes. Should you require further changes after these 3 proofs, each additional round of changes will cost an additional $20.

Once we have come up with a final plan for your paper, you will be given a price quote for your order. Before final printing will be done on your paper, you must give the final approval of a proof and pay the remaining balance (minus the deposit) on your order. The Paper Canary carefully proofreads all invitations and paper products before printing, but it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that all text is correct prior to printing.

If you should need to make changes or corrections after printing has begun there will be an additional re-print fee to be determined on a case by case basis based on the stage of the printing/assembly process the invitations are in.

Depending on the type of invitation, time of year, and the level of detail of the invitations, once final printing has started, custom work will take 2 - 4 weeks to complete.
Shipping
****Bingo Cards, We've Moved Cards, Small Paintings****

These paper goods are shipped to domestic customers via USPS Priority Mail. International customers--please contact Michelle to discuss shipping options and pricing.




****Large Paintings and Pottery****

Paintings larger than 9x12" and all pottery will be shipped via UPS or Fedex. Please let Michelle know if you have a preference of carrier.




****Handmade Invitations****

--Samples--

All samples are available to be shipped immediately at this time. Samples are mailed via USPS first class mail and will generally take 2 - 4 days for domestic shipping or an estimated 5 - 30 days for international shipping.


--Custom Orders - Domestic--

Custom orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and will arrive in 2 - 3 days. Overnight shipping (USPS Express Mail) is available at an added cost, please inquire if you wish your packages to be overnighted. Insurance and delivery confirmation will be included for all domestic custom shipments. Domestic shipping is free of charge for orders over $50.


--Custom Orders - International--

International custom paper orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and will arrive in an estimated 6 - 10 business days. This time does not include time spent in customs. We recommend that you research the policies for customs, duties, and taxes for your country as The Paper Canary is not responsible for any duties or taxes, or for time spent in customs. If you prefer a different shipping company UPS or Fedex can be used instead. International shipping rate will be determined on a case by case basis. The Paper Canary will wave the first $15 and the customer will pay the remaining balance.

--Handmade Quality--

When you purchase items from The Paper Canary, you are purchasing high quality, handmade pieces. Each piece will be made by hand by the artist, Michelle Fairholm. Each piece must meet Michelle’s discerning attention to detail before being sold and sent to you. Since each piece is made by hand, there will be slight variations in placement on each item that make each piece truly unique and special.



--Rush Orders--

Rush orders will be considered on a case by case basis and will include an additional fee. This fee will be agreed upon and included in the price quote. We can usually accommodate clients who need rush orders but it will ultimately depend on our current schedule.
