From Corporate to Creative
You know that feeling when you’re sitting at work one day and you literally think- “How the heck did I get here?”. I hit that moment in April, 2011. Here I was, working in foreclosure, being forced to tell customers- “I’m sorry- You’ll have to move out of your home because the company simply won’t profit from giving you a modification.” The next day, I put in my two weeks notice.
I made the decision to follow my heart and pursue my passion: anything & everything crafty.
Originally, I joined Etsy to showcase my handmade knitted items, as knitting was my hobby and passion. I was so excited with the process of getting my little "dream business" started that I spent all of my time doing research about what I needed to get started. I found myself collecting cute, colorful odds and ends, packaging supplies, and fun envelopes, envisioning in my head how my very first sale would look. I took a pair of fingerless gloves and dressed them up in colorful twine, strung with a tag with handwritten instructions for how to care for them. I placed them neatly in a brown, rustic pillow box, and created my own stickers that said "Made with Love". I was obsessed with any kind of packaging that screamed "handmade." I ate it up. Then I thought to myself: Wait a minute... If I want to take the time to make sure my handmade things are packaged in a way that reflects the time and care that I spent creating them, then I'm sure others are looking for the same thing!
Thus, The Petite Package was born.
In May of 2013, I married my favorite person in the world, Josh. In the months leading up to our small wedding, I quickly became obsessed with planning the little details for our big day. My pinterest board was overflowing. With my brain going nonstop, I slowly started incorporating wedding items into my Etsy shop. Now they are the most hot ticket items I have to offer. I just love playing with all of the trends, colors, and themes in today's modern wedding.
Today, I love to spend my time finding new ways to wrap, decorate, and gift! Many of the items in my shop are on display in my home, and were used in my own wedding. I pride myself on giving the best customer service possible. Each order is made, packaged, and delivered with love by yours truly. I also enjoy the fact that now I get to make a living doing something I love!

Refunds and Exchanges
Due to the custom nature of most of our items, we ask that you please double check to make sure your notes are accurate before submitting your order. If an error or typo is found made on our behalf, we will absolutely replace the item in a timely manner, or issue a full refund if the date has passed. Please contact us ASAP so that we may work towards finding the best resolution together.
In the event that a typo is made on your behalf, we offer reprints at 50% of the original cost (we would hate for you to pay full price twice). If the event or date has already passed and you are unable to reorder in time, we can kindly issue a partial refund of 50%, assuming we fulfilled the order accurately based on the notes provided on the invoice. We appreciate your understanding in this manner, and emphasize the importance of accuracy when placing an order!
