ThePresentExplorer es mi pequeña empresa que comencé en junio de 2020. De hecho, comencé como un blog de viajes, compartiendo mis aventuras de mochilero por Sri Lanka y Europa, historias de voluntariado y cómo era la vida cuando convertimos nuestro Jeep en un hogar y vivimos en la naturaleza durante 4 meses.

Siempre he tenido una pasión por las artes. A los 12 años es cuando empecé a dedicarme a la fotografía, el dibujo y la pintura. Luego, en 2020, me metí en la arcilla y comencé a compartir mis creaciones con el mundo. Soy un gran viajero y siempre estoy al aire libre, explorando y viendo este hermoso planeta. Personalmente, me siento mejor cuando estoy desconectado del ajetreo de la vida cotidiana y simplemente estoy completamente en el momento en la naturaleza. Ahí es donde encuentro la mayor parte de mi inspiración, de simplemente estar presente, observar, tomar el sol y explorar (de ahí "The Present Explorer").

¡Soy una mujer que muestra y hago todo el diseño, creación, programación, publicación, promoción, fotografía, embalaje, envío y servicio al cliente, todo en la carretera en mi camioneta! Es mucho trabajo y me encanta cada minuto. Cada creación que hago tiene amor y buena energía vertida en ella porque quiero que irradie. Quiero que la gente cuelgue su nuevo arte en sus lugares favoritos y sienta el amor. Quiero que traiga alegría, calma, positividad a la gente y agregue un toque de aire libre a su hogar. Muchas de mis piezas también provienen del autocuidado / salud mental, por lo que es importante para mí que mi trabajo tenga mensajes.

Otra gran cosa para mí es el empaque, siento que es parte de la experiencia, especialmente cuando alguien elige comprar en una pequeña empresa en lugar de una gran empresa. Quieres hacer que tu cliente se sienta especial y feliz. Siempre uso envases bajos en residuos con etiquetas de nombre personalizadas y plantas secas que forrajeé. Quiero que se sienta como si estuvieran abriendo un regalo, incluso si lo compraron para sí mismos.

A partir de 2021, ThePresentExplorer es ahora una tienda itinerante. El tiempo lo paso viajando por el país en mi camioneta autoconvertida viviendo fuera de la red y creando nuevas ideas cada día en la naturaleza. La vida de mis sueños es posible gracias al amor y el apoyo de mis clientes.

ThePresentExplorer is my small business that I first started in June of 2020. I actually started as a travel blog, sharing my backpacking adventures around Sri Lanka and Europe, volunteering stories, and what life was like when we turned our Jeep into a home and lived in nature for 4 months.

I have always had a passion for the arts. At the age of 12 is when I first started getting into photography, drawing and painting. Then in 2020 I got into clay and began sharing my creations with the world. I'm a huge traveler and am always outdoors, exploring and seeing this beautiful planet. Personally I feel my best self when I am disconnected from the busyness of everyday life and just being completely in the moment out in nature. That is where I find most of my inspiration, from just being present, observing, soaking in the sunshine and exploring (hence "The Present Explorer").

I am a one woman show and do all of the designing, creating, scheduling, posting, promoting, photographing, packaging, shipping and customer service all on the road in my van! It's a whole lot of work and I love every minute of it. Each creation that I make has love and good energy poured into it because I want it to radiate. I want people to hang up their new art in their favorite places and feel the love. I want it to bring people joy, calmness, positivity and add a touch of the outdoors to their home. A lot of my pieces also stem from self care/mental health as well so it's important to me that my work has messages.

Another big thing for me is the packaging, I feel it is part of the experience especially when someone is choosing to purchase from a small business rather than a large company. You want to make your customer feel special and happy. I always use low waste packaging with custom name tags, and dried plants that I foraged. I want it to feel like they are opening a gift even if they bought it for themselves.

As of 2021 ThePresentExplorer is now a traveling shop. Time is spent traveling the country in my self-converted van living off grid and creating new ideas each day in nature. My dream life is made possible thanks to my customers' love and support.
