Siempre me ha gustado crear y ser creativo. Crecí haciendo muñecas de papel y cosiendo ropa de Barbie con mi abuela Ruby y The Princess and the Pea Designs lleva su nombre en honor a ella. Disfruto creando algo especial y sabiendo que mis creaciones traen alegría a los demás. Me encanta crear artículos para ocasiones especiales como cumpleaños y bodas, así como un simple regalo feliz por un regalo "porque sí" que pondrá una sonrisa en la cara de alguien.
Comencé PPD en 2009 como una salida creativa y descubrí que era muy terapéutico. Me gusta el diseño gráfico, el vinilo y la sublimación, y el repintado de muebles. Todo esto hecho en mi tiempo libre. ¿Mi trabajo diario? Trabajo con programas juveniles militares en Florida y Europa. ¿Mi pasión? ¡Conservación de tortugas marinas! Mis veranos los paso monitoreando y protegiendo a las tortugas marinas en nuestra playa local. Es un sueño hecho realidad y algo que nunca soñé que tendría la oportunidad de hacer.

I have always enjoyed crafting and being creative. I grew up making paper dolls and sewing Barbie clothes with my Granny Ruby and The Princess and the Pea Designs is named in honor of her. I enjoy creating something special and knowing that my creations bring joy to others. I love creating items for special occasions like birthdays and weddings, as well as a simple little happy for a "just because" gift that will put a smile on someone's face.
I started PPD in 2009 as a creative outlet and discovered it to be very therapeutic. I enjoy graphic design, vinyl and sublimation, and repainting furniture. This all done in my free time. My day job? I work with military youth programs in Florida and Europe. My passion? Sea turtle conservation! My summers are spent monitoring and protecting sea turtles on our local beach. It is a dream come true and something I never dreamed I would have the opportunity to do.
