Design and Textiles hand made in Melbourne, Australia

The Print Room is a design and textile studio based in Melbourne, Australia. Founded by graphic designer Whitney Colbourn, TPR was created out of a complete love for anything printed.

From paper printing to textile printing and everything in between, we love it. Nothing beats the smell of some freshly printed paper, the richness of colour on a newly pressed piece of fabric or the feel of a beautifully embossed or letterpressed piece. As we are clearly so passionate about all things printed, we want to share some of this love with beautifully crafted products which hopefully bring you a piece of the joy that we experience daily.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale
If you have questions or concerns about any items, please ask before purchasing.

Refunds will only be issued if an item is flawed when you receive it. Items must be returned to us in order to receive a refund. Depending on the item, a photo of the flawed item may be requested in order to receive a refund.

IMPORTANT - We do not issue refunds for change of mind. We also do not issue refunds for any other claims made that are more than 14 days after you receive delivery.

If you wish to receive a refund/free resend if goods are lost or damaged in transit you MUST upgrade your shipping to include insurance cover. Standard shipping DOES NOT include insurance cover for these circumstances.
Payments are accepted via Paypal, Credit and debit cards or Etsy gift cards.

Payment is required upon purchase. Please contact us within 12 hours of purchase if you wish to cancel an order. A full refund will be issued if you cancel a sale. Once an order has been dispatched - it cannot be cancelled/refunded.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure at checkout that your shipping address is correct, including the postcode/zipcode. We will not be responsible for orders shipped to the wrong address or shipping delays if an incorrect address is submitted at checkout.

Shipping cost of all our scarf ranges and our shibori tote bags includes insurance cover and tracking for all orders sent within Australia and International.

For all other items in our shop, standard shipping with Australia Post is:

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - untracked and uninsured. Once dispatched, shipping time estimate is 8 -14 business days depending on location. Sometimes goods can be held up further due to delays clearing customs - this is unavoidable and time expectations unpredictable.

DOMESTIC PARCEL- (Canvas totes, calendar with stand, bulk card order) - tracked but uninsured. 3-7 business days once dispatched.

DOMESTIC PRIORITY LETTER DELIVERY (for cards, notebooks, calendar refills) - neither tracked or insured. Shipping time 3-7 business days depending on location

Express upgrade is available at checkout for any orders within Australia.

If you expect a refund/free resend for any orders damaged or lost in transit - your shipping choice at checkout MUST BE UPGRADED TO INCLUDE INSURANCE COVER.

A full refund will be given on all cancellations. Orders cannot be cancelled if the order has already been shipped.

We take great care in packaging all orders so that they are safe and secure in transit. Once the orders are shipped, we cannot be responsible for their loss or damage. This is why we HIGHLY recommend upgrading your shipping option so you are covered for any shipping mishaps.
