Our Story
Ciao, mi chiamo Melissa e sono la proprietaria e creatrice di Southern Stone Appeal.
Ho pensato di prendermi il tempo per presentarmi e condividere un po' di me e del motivo per cui ho avviato questa attività. Mio marito è un marine, quindi tendiamo a spostarci più della maggior parte degli altri. Abbiamo anche due ragazzini e due cani. Anche se sempre impegnato, ho avuto la passione di creare cose da solo fin da quando ero piccolo. Avevo bisogno di uno sbocco per tutte le mie idee, qualcosa che potessi portare con me ad ogni mossa. Il 26 marzo 2018 con il pieno sostegno di mio marito ho avviato la mia piccola attività. All'inizio realizzavo orecchini e piccoli gioielli. Nel corso del tempo la mia attività è cresciuta e mi sono espanso nell'artigianato che ho sempre desiderato realizzare. Il 23 aprile 2021 abbiamo acquistato un laser Glowforge e le nostre possibilità sono diventate ancora più grandi. Da allora abbiamo aggiunto una stampante a sublimazione e una stampante 3D. Dopo che a mio figlio è stato diagnosticato l'autismo, ho lasciato il lavoro per portarlo alle sue sessioni di terapia e ho intrapreso l'attività a tempo pieno. Adoro creare regali e decorazioni personalizzati e unici nel loro genere che ispirino gli altri e facciano sorridere i loro volti mentre mi prendo cura anche dei miei ragazzi! La mia sincera speranza è che i pezzi personalizzati che creo portino un po' più di felicità alla tua giornata.

Hello, My name is Melissa, and I am the owner and creator of Southern Stone Appeal.
I thought I'd take the time to introduce myself and share a little about myself and why I started this business. My husband is a Marine so we tend to move around more than most. We also have two little boys and two dogs. Though always busy, I have had a passion for creating things on my own since i was little. I needed an outlet for all of my ideas, something that I could take with me with each move. On March 26, 2018 with my husband's full support I started my small business. In the beginning I crafted earrings and small jewelry pieces. Over time my business grew, and I expanded into the crafts I always wanted to make. On April 23,2021 we bought a Glowforge laser, and our possibilities grew even larger. We have since added a sublimation printer and a 3d printer. After my son was diagnosed with Autism I quit my job to take him to his therapy sessions and took the business full time. I love creating custom one-of-a-kind gifts and decor that inspire others and put a smile on their face while also caring for my boys! It is my sincere hope that the custom pieces I create bring a little more happiness to your day.
