This is the 2nd time I've purchased jewelry from Nat and like last time she was very easy to order from. It makes for a great gift too.

Where Liquid and Solid meet

In my last year of high school we had something called "Senior Projects", 3 weeks in which we could do whatever we wanted. My art teacher signed me up for a project, though I wanted to do a lazy one (my idea was to stay home and cook the whole time). Instead I found myself driving for an hour every morning to the middle of nowhere to be apprenticed by a blacksmith. I was blown away by the power and majesty of molten iron, the strength it took to wield a hammer, and the elegance of the finished piece. And that's where my stor(y)e begins.
Years later, I found myself taking a metalsmithing and flame working class (a birthday gift from my dearest family) and it rekindled my passion and interest that I had way back in high school. I loved the fluidity of glass, the way it seemed to be as impossible to control as water yet a solid of beautiful colours and shapes was created. I've been hooked on glass ever since. To help pay for supplies and lessons I began selling to my friends and family members. Once others began to take notice I decided to open an Etsy store. And voila! The Rabbit and The Bear was born.

Additional policies and FAQs
I do take some custom requests (read above though, they are non-refundable), including writing initials into beads.

Glass has been kiln fired and therefore should not shatter, but please be careful with it. Glass can still break, crack, shatter if taken from extreme temperatures (for example wearing outside in winter and then coming inside into a warm house), for longer lasting pieces, wear pieces against skin and not on outside of clothes when going between temperatures.

If glass shatters when it has not been dropped or hit with anything, then please contact me and we can discuss a return.
