Note from shop owner Hello All!

Our family is in the middle of a move and it’s impossible to keep the shop open while packing dishes and finding a home for everything in our new place.

If you already placed an order or convo’ed me regarding a custom item, I will be taking care of you.

Thank you for understanding,
Debbie

About

Wow. To be a stay-at-home mom. After working since I was 14, it was a hard thing to do. I lost myself a little bit. But I found me again with woodworking.

I've built furniture, re-purposed anything that wasn't falling apart, and put paint on everything. Now I've settled into what I love -- making old wood look good again. You see, I think all this lumber has a story to tell. I don't know where most of it began, or where it's been, but I would rather rescue it from the landfill or side of the road, than to have it filling up our dumps.

Making this art is therapy for me as well. My son, born in 2005 with Down syndrome, has twice fought leukemia. But he is not out of the woods. Archaic forms of cancer treatment has him battling for his life over and over. But when he is on a stretch of good days, I find myself in the garage, the place where I can exhale and create.

I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoy making them.
