Very nice yarn, soft and squishy. I have a pattern in mind for it and can't wait to start knitting.

The wonderful people at the Rocking Yak were so helpful in finding me exactly what I needed. The order was quickly put together, all communication was prompt and polite, and the yarn itself is exquisite. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!

About

From The Founder

Over ten years ago, I was backpacking in southwest China. On my journey, I traveled through dozens of mountain villages. The resounding theme of what I saw was desperation, and an inability to meet the most basic needs. It’s one thing to look at a picture of the poor and only feel bad for them. It’s another thing to walk among the poor, to see their situation, and then do nothing to help. This is why I founded The Rocking Yak.
Our desire at The Rocking Yak, is to bring much needed income through sustainable, long-term employment at fair wages. We aim to empower families in their choice to live a more traditional Tibetan lifestyle, by bringing economic value to the skills of rearing yak and spinning wool. In bringing luxurious handcrafted products to you, we are able to help families gain self worth and pride in the celebration of their unique culture.

Shipping
I am happy to ship products internationally. I truly enjoy the connection I feel sharing in handicrafts that are produced all over the world. In shipping to other countries, I do my best to be as thorough as possible with the Post Office as to what is being shipped. If you live in a country that has restrictions on importing animal products, I will do my best to work with you on this matter.
