Welcome to our shop The Rugged Heart. All signs are handmade. Signs are made using materials on hand or purchased, including repurposed wood, so there may be design elements that are unique to that particular piece. Those design elements may include color, knots, natural distressing, marks, or scratches.

Returns and exchanges
All sales are final.

If you would like to request cancellation of your order you must do so within 12 hours of purchasing your item in order to receive a full refund.

If within 24 hours of ordering you request cancellation, you may receive a refund up to 75% of your purchase price if work has been started but not completed on your order.

If between 24-36 hours you request a cancellation, and work has been started but not completed on your order, you may receive up to 50% of your purchase price.

If after 36 hours of purchasing your order and you request cancellation, and work has been started but not completed, no refund will be given .

Work includes consultation on design, the design process, or any labor towards your order.
Payment
Full payment is to be collected at the time of purchasing your sign/order. We accept payment via PayPal, or direct payment via credit/debit through etsy. Please read each item description fully to make sure you are ordering exactly what you would like.

We try to work with every customer who wants to customize their order to give them a unique piece that fits their desires. If you have questions about a piece before you order please email us before you make your purchase. If you have questions after you order please email us within 24 hours so that we can get back to you before starting work on your order.
Shipping
We ship most of our signs using Priority Mail through the U.S. Post Office, unless discussed with the client before hand or size restricts us from choosing that option. Then we will ship Standard Mail, unless client requests other services. Shipping charges are not refunded even in the event that an item purchased was refunded, unless we have not shipped your order and decide to allow the refund.

We have the ability to customize your sign with different color stains or paints. If you want a particular color that isn't offered please specify that request before ordering.
