Stylish knitwear from my hands to your

I live in the most easterly part of Canada, where people live on an almost constant island of fog but boast a colourful and fantastic culture and history. As a knitter, I'm trying to bridge the gap between my Grandmother's generation and my own in a land where knitting is not a hobby, but a way of life.

I learned to knit many years ago. My mother handed me two straight needles, a skein of rainbow yarn and showed me how to purl and knit. Though it would take me a few years to realize my passion for the art, a passion for crafting has always been in my blood. Whether it was friendship bracelets, sketching, journal making or photography, I've always had a desire to make and create.

When I picked up a set of needles again last year, my passion for knitting was reignited. I strive to make items that are stylish and beautiful, that not only you, but I, would like to wear myself.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I have a no return or exchange policy. Once the item leaves my shop, I will not be held responsible to resell it. Refunds are circumstantial. If the item becomes damaged in the mail, you are free to mail the item back to me; I will correct whatever damage has occurred and ship it back to you. You will only have to pay the return shipping. If the item becomes lost once shipped, I will mail a replacement. I may or may not have the same exact materials as the item shipped; if not, the replacement will be similar.

Refunds are given for items not arriving by a specific date unless the customer contacted the shop in advance and arranged for a guaranteed shipping option.

If you have any other problems, please contact me and I'll see what I can do to work it out.
Paypal is accepted and payment is expected upon purchase.

If you wish to pay by credit card, Paypal has that option, just go through the motions to pay via paypal and you will see the option to click on a credit card logo. If you pay with an echeck via Paypal, the items will not be shipped until the payment has cleared.

Cheques and money orders are not accepted.

Paper receipts are included only in wholesale orders. E-receipts are available online via your Etsy account.
I ship 1-2 business days after payment is received and cleared.Shipping is done through Canada Post.

US shipping usually takes 9-12 days but can take longer.
UK shipping is usually 6-10 days but can take longer.
International (non-UK/USA) usually takes 10-14 days but can take longer.
Canadian shipping takes about 1 week but can take longer.

Order for the Christmas Holiday season 2012 must be made before December 10th in Canada or December 3rd in the US to guarantee arrival for Christmas.

These are estimated times and the vast majority of packages arrive within this time frame - however no guarantees are made for shipping. Larger packages can take a bit longer.

Items are shipped to the address provided in the Etsy receipt.

I ship via Canada Post lettermail or parcel, and lettermail/small packet/expedited parcel/XpresspostUSA (depending on size of packet) to the US and overseas.

Superfast, tracked shipping can be arranged (at the customer's expense) - please contact me for this.

Once the package leaves my hand (and especially once it hits the border) it is out of my control.

Should you wish to ship with tracking and/or insurance, please contact me as both within and outside of Canada, this is typically a more expensive option. On orders over $75, refunds for lost packages will only be given if the customer requested an upgrade to Xpresspost of courier.

International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries - items cannot be marked as "gift".

I do take custom orders. This, however, is subject to my current work load (I do work full time during the school year) and access to the materials needed. I live in a rural area and I don't always have access to thicker, bulkier yarns. Please inquire personally about an item before placing an order.
