I custom ordered 2 aprons from Dana, and I have to say I'm stunned by the amazing quality! The fabric is lush and thick and the craftsmanship is phenomenal. So glad I ordered from her and didn't go to a department store for my aprons. Can't wait to show these off! (And the packaging was lovely, I felt like I was unwrapping a Christmas gift!)

Let's get back to basics, shall we?

See how an apron comes together:

Learn about my own apron:

Food has always been a huge part of my life. My best memories involve packing a breakfast picnic to watch the sunrise over the mountains and cutting up my granny's legendary Mahaca burrito with a machete (yeah, we're a little quirky).

It only seemed natural, then, that I would turn to the kitchen as a way to unwind myself and to help others feel a little better at the end of the day. I think cooking should be easy and fun to do everyday, and that people should only eat hot pockets because they want to and not because they are afraid of using anything except for the microwave.

I started this shop so that anyone could have access to the things that my family and friends and I already love. I'm not saying all of our problems will go away if we hide out in the kitchen, but it amazes me how much relationships grow after conversations over dinner and how much I can think things over when I'm whipping up a cake. We don't have control over much in this world, so what do you say, will you take control over your kitchen?

Thank you for supporting handmade!

I never really understood why life is so complicated. Sure, there are plenty of things out of my control, but nothing ever goes wrong when I'm just sewing away the afternoon (er--except maybe a few broken needles).

I want you to be outfitted with everything you need to take the kitchen by storm, and I don't think you should have to pay through the nose to get there. That said, payment is expected before your item ships. You may pay by credit card, paypal, and approved barter.
All regular orders will ship within 2 days of payment. If you have a custom apron request, the shipping timeline will be determined upon order placement.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an item is not to your satisfaction, I am happy to offer alterations or refunds so long as the item is returned in the same condition as when I sent it. Any return shipping is out of your pocket.

I do custom embroidery!

Every apron in my shop is one-of-a-kind. If you had your eye on an apron that has since sold, you can definitely contact me to see if it is possible to recreate the original. In all cases, the design of the original can certainly be replicated, but fabric is usually the problem. I will do everything I can to either find more of the original fabric or offer suitable substitutes. I am very happy to help however I can.

Unless otherwise stated, all of my aprons are made with 100 percent cotton. I think that you should actually be able to use these for cooking, gardening, and crafting, so I design these with messes and subsequent washes in mind. I guarantee that you can machine wash your apron with cold or warm water, tumble dry on low, and steam iron your apron to keep it looking its best.

I try to convey all of the information I can about my products through my photos, but I realize that the Internet is no substitute for seeing something in person. In order to cut down on misunderstanding, feel free to contact me for additional photos or descriptions if you have specific questions.
