Thank you for stopping by Salvaged Whimsy. We've chosen this name because "salvaged" is the act of saving something in danger and "whimsy" is an item of quaint or fanciful nature.

At Salvaged Whimsy, you'll find cottage, coastal, and farmhouse style decor with a unique industrial edge. Not only do we scour barns, estate sales and auctions for the perfect pieces, we like to add our own special "touch" to many of the items we sell. We up-cycle, re-purpose, paint and distress our items into one-of-a-kind pieces that will add a bit of character to any decor style.

If you like the look of Salvaged Whimsy, but don't see exactly what you're looking for in our shop, please contact us -- we may have it, know where to find it, or can make it for you.

We love what we do, its the fulfillment of a life long dream, and we hope it shows in every item we offer.

Salvaged Whimsy accepts Paypal, credit cards, and Etsy Gift Card payments.

Please be aware that items will not be shipped until full payment is received.

If payment is not received within 3 days of purchase, without contacting us, the item will be re-listed in the shop.
Salvaged Whimsy is not responsible for your package once it has been confirmed by tracking that it was delivered. (So PLEASE make sure your shipping information is correct!) If you are concerned about delivery to your address and would like to add insurance or sign upon delivery confirmation, please contact us and we will upgrade your shipping accordingly.

If you have a SPECIFIC DEADLINE to receive your order (a birthday, wedding or anniversary date, etc), please let us know and we will let you know if we can accommodate your request.

Unless the specific item listing states that the item is ready to ship immediately, please see our shop's banner for current production and shipping times.

In the US, Salvaged Whimsy uses USPS Priority Shipping, with a tracking number, whenever possible. When that is not possible, we use Parcel Post - which takes about 5 business days.

For items over $25.00 that can not be replaced, we do include insurance in the price of shipping, so if your item is damaged or lost, please contact the Post Office to make a claim.

We do package items as securely as possible, but can not be responsible for accidents or unforeseen circumstances that occur in transit.

We try to ship items within 2-4 days from the time payment is received, however, if weather or other circumstances delay shipping, I will be in touch ASAP to let you know.

Please convo us for shipping prices and availability. Delivery may take longer depending on location.

Salvaged Whimsy is not responsible for orders once they leave the US.
Once I mail the package, I have no control over when it will be delivered.

Salvaged Whimsy is not responsible for any VAT (value added tax) by Customs on overseas shipping. This may occur in some countries.
Refunds and Exchanges
These items are not refundable, but may be exchanged if there is an error on our part. Should you have any concerns, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your item.

Salvaged Whimsy puts a lot of time into providing an accurate description and photos on all items listed for sale. On vintage items, we are very up-front about any flaws or issues that we are able to detect. We are not an experts or appraisers, but do try to price items as accurately as possible, based on available data.

However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 3 days from when you receive the item. Refund of the purchase price will be given as long as the item is received in the same condition as which it was sent to you, within 10 days of the date you receive it Please be sure to package securely and purchase insurance when items are valuable and/or fragile.
